My husband watched a mcdonalds employee leave the bathroom without washing his hands and when he reported it to the manager, he was asked to leave the truckstop.
McDonalds (Peeler Rd) is the sorriest one yet, Bad food, nasty in general and when we told employees the tables were not sanitary they did NOTHING!! It was an awful experience!! opened McDonalds, NEVER again!! , even the kids ages 7 and 4 wouldn't eat their food, they said its nasty, so we wasted not only our money but precious time with our grandchildren. My entire family and I have been a customer of yours for 20 plus years and in ALL those years I have NEVER made a complaint, But I have to now.I decided to take my grandchildren to the new one on Peeler Rd in Salisbury NC (it's inside a LUV truck stop) because we wanted to try one that was finally close to our home. So Disappointed!! First of all there had to be at least 5 or maybe more employees there,(who cared more about their cell phones and friends than they did YOUR customers) the place was disgusting, the tables were nasty the floor was sticky, Food was horrible!! We asked for HOT FRESH fries (my favorite), they refried old ones. There were 2 employees standing in the dining room where we were seated (after I cleaned our table), I told them that we had children eating there and the tables were very dirty and sticky, NOTHING was done. Because I politely suggested that it was unsanitary they just got rude. I took PHOTOS of everything. When could not even eat our food, not only was the fries terrible, one of the kids gogurt was busted in her bag, of course I wasn't going to complain again, by this time it was pointless. The employees saw me snapping pictures and they thought it was entertaining, they still did NOTHING!! We threw our food away, I have my receipt also almost $26 in the garbage, I don't have money to waste like that. All I know is the managers name was Rachel, and no one wanted to talk to me, this is why I am writing you. Please contact me, I would love to send you the photos I have. I believe my family and I should get a refund & an apology! They REALLY need good management! I hope this changes fast or I hate to say business will not be return customers. We were treated like it was a HUGE burden for then to wait on us. The only good thing I can honestly say about this location is that the sweet tea was good. That was a very expensive cup of tea!! Again, I would be happy to post photos that I took.They may be lovin it, but my family is not!!
