Sloppiest pedicure and nail polish change I've ever had. I am from out of town and was passing through the area and decided to swing by and do a little pampering. Wow, very sorely disappointed. Less then 5 hours later my nails have chipped in 3 spots and both my finger nails toe nails are have polish left on my skin. Steer clear of this shoddy place!
It pains me to give Regal Nails such a low score... I went to this salon for years with great results. I had a great rapport with the staff. They all knew me and vice versa. But my last experience was such a disappointment. I hadn't been for a few months...trying to cut down on frivolous expenses to save money. But, for Christmas I'd gotten a gift certificate to Regal Nails specifically, since everyone knew it was my favorite place (only place :) ) to get my nails done. The woman who did my nails was new, but I wasn't worried. I had faith in Regals craftsmanship. I was shocked when 3 nails popped off after a few days. The rest of them were all loose and close to doing the same. I went back to explain the problem, had to get them done all over again...and was charged :(. And even though my nails were done by a gentleman who'd done them before, the same thing happened again, just short of a week after having them done. Needless to say, I haven't gone back...I'm afraid I'll be charged yet again for a full set well ahead of when I should be with an increasing likelihood they'll fall apart again. A veteran of acrylic and gel nails, let me assure you that I'm well-versed in how to care for them. I even purchased and wear latex gloves on days when I clean house to avoid exposing them to harsh chemicals. In the past, my nails would consistently last 3 weeks or more before I'd need a fill or anot her full set. And the prices were so very reasonable! Such a shame the the workmanship and devotion to providing a sound product, and correcting an error when it doesn't meet standards is no longer a priority. Look for another nail salon. I'll be doing the same... :(.
The manager/owner is very nice and pleasant as well as the other nail techs. They work very hard and yet they take the time to get to know their clients. I love this place.
I love going to Extreme Nail and Tanning. I have been a regular there for years, Michael does a wonderful job on my nails and Kelly gives an awesome pedicure. I would refer any and everyone to go there and you will see what I am talking about.
I went here to get eyelashes extensions before a portrait. They didn't have the correct size in to do mine so the lady just said she would trim them if I thought they were too long. The entire procedure hurt because she kept putting a lot of pressure on my eyes and lifting my eyelids up. All I could feel was a sharp burning ssensation. When I got done, I looked like a clown. I asked her to trim them like she offered and she did. She just cut straight across and took the curl off. They were all the same length and stuck off of my face. It was horrible. I complained to the manager and after a scene was made, she agreeded to take them off. Some of the chemicals got in my eyes yet again and the pain was much much worse. It felt like I was being ttortured. After it was all said and done, they still had the audacity to try and charge me full price. This place is awful.
