        The whole staff is kind and knowledgeable, and they have taken wonderful care of our cats! When our kitten developed a fast moving fatal disease they did an amazing job of helping us care for her and make the tough decisions. I highly recommend them!

        WARNING: WINTERPLACE VET DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO READ XRAYS. You think all vets are knowledgeable & if they have their degree/certificate they know how to diagnose an animals condition. NOT ALWAYS. I took my 10 yo Golden to Winterplace Sept 2014 & after a round of xrays & biopsies etc she was diagnosed with an aggressive BONE CANCER. They stole over $1000 out of my wallet, [so to speak] suggested a follow up with cancer specialists in Willmington area. I was devastated & quickly sought another opinion. Luckily I remembered a Holistic Vet clinic called HEALING HANDS in Salisbury, brought Shelly to them, with same xrays & a biopsy etc performed they came up with Hyperthroidisum condition. Now its been almost a year on medication & Hair grew back, her over all stamina is threw the roof, as she runs & plays with her little sister. PLEASE PLEASE GET A SECOND OPINION IF YOU THEY HAVE GIVEN YOU DOG A CANCER DIAGNOSIS. THEY DONOT KNOW HOW TO READ XRAYS.
