The best experience Good Foot good personality and The Business is great family business the best of Salinas California
Always receive the best customer service, freshest food made to order and great atmosphere. Small and quaint but love the family feel of the place.
If I could I'd give this place no stars. Worst customer service the cashiers are a joke especially the guy that cooks up all the good. The girl looks under 18 and the food there's always sowmyhing wrong with it. I always try to give this place a chance but it is a joke im suprised they have passed their inspections seeing that the girls cashier serve the food and take money. Also found a hair in my quesadilla. I never complained to them but today is the day. Today my mom and I went ordered 2 tortas instead we got 2 tacos when my mom told them that we ordered torta she said they don't have any and to take it up to the cashier he was being rude, seeing that there was a long line we did not want to wait so we took the tacos and chips oh need to mention the chips were super stale and the salsas looked as if they were watered down. Never eating from here again I'd rather have nasty Big Macs any day
Serving salinas since 2004. Giving the best and improved service.
This is the worst restaurant i have ever being into. I hated it the waiter didn't ask me if i wanted the big plate or small plate. And i ordered from the back (small plate) she just assumed i wanted the big plate i left all the beans and rice.
I went to Mama Lupitas for lunch today. This was my second time. I was not disappointed. The waitress was friendly. I ordered a Chili Relano. First, a delicious vegetable cup of soup came loaded with vegetables and some pasta. It was just warm enough to eat. Right away, came the plate which was huge. The rice was most delicious. The rice was large and fluffy and the taste was wonderful. My Chili Relano was also good and the beans too!. I felt nice and warm inside and was impressed with the decor and pictures on the wall. I felt at home there and plan to return the next time I am in the area.
When done right, Filipino food is tasty. This is largely due in part to the amount of meat that is to be found in their dishes. The down side is that the food can have degrees of greasiness. Filipino food usually has a higher salt content, a factor people with HBP or cardiac issues need to consider. Camalig does not have a menu because they change most of their offerings daily. A very nice touch. They also offer exotic dishes such as dinugu-an the infamous "chocolate meat."Camalig can be considered a true ethnic restaurant being they do not serve "americanized" versions of their food.
Wow food is awful and quality and quantity for the price is not worth it. We got a taco for $2.00 and it had more cilantro than meat and the meat was pure fat. To top off things our bill was $50.82 they charged my card $120.82 really? I will never be back and I will make sure everyone knows how bad it is there, I can't believe they are still in business.
