We have a Sears Master Protection Agreement for some of our major home appliances. The icemaker on our 12 year old GE side-by-side refrigerator started leaking and we called Sears for warranty work. Fidel, the technician, was knowlegeable, friendly, and determined to fix the problem. He had to order parts and come back to install them, but he fixed the leak and we have a new icemaker and control valve. Great work, Fidel. Highly recommend Sears Service.
Our Kitchen Aide Ice maker leaked from the water connector hose a little hole causing damage to our floor and walls. Sears sent A&E out and the man only wanted to take pictures of the damages and close the account out. He didn't even want to service it and was rude. We have a warranty till August 2017.
They didn't want to be responsible for the hose only the Ice Maker when they installed the water hose connector. We wanted a 1/4 inch Copper hose so future damages would not happen.
The tech said he had come from another house that had the same problem with their refrigerator.
We buy all our products from Sears. We are rethinking that and will not be making future purchase with Sears.
In 2005, we bought a Kenmore dishwasher.
In November 2016 we experience our first problem with the dishwasher, however the warranty had expired. We considered buying another dishwasher, or paying and additional $220,00 for an extended warranty. As educated consumers we decided the best choice at this time was to extend the warranty. Sears appliance repair was a good investment., great customer service, impeccable appliance repair
Very smooth and affordable experience. Technician was prompt and I loved the way they emailed and called to tell me when he was on the way to my house so I didn't have to sit and wait. The part arrived directly to my house so I had no concern it wouldn't be ready.
I'm very dissatisfied with the service, scheduling and unit. The Kenmore unit we bought 2 yrs ago started leaking. It sounded like it was a very common repair, which sounds more like a design flaw. The fastest appointment I could get was a month out. He did call a few hours before to let me know what time he would be there and was punctual. It took 15 minutes to fix but it didn't solve the problem because 2 hrs later the unit leaked more than before. When I called, the next available appointment was 20 days later. I'm very dissatisfied.
Hired Sears Appliance to have a dishwasher repaired.. The repairman was efficient and quickly made the necessary repair. Did not give Sears 5 stars because the appointment was scheduled 10:00 AM to noon. and repairman called to say he would not arrive until after 1:00.
