I live Target. Helpful staff, and friendly customer service! One of my favorite places to go shopping.
I swear you can't walk into that store without having a panic attack. You can never find anyone to help you and when you do find someone they ignore you. I actually work there and the coworkers that I worked with absolutely sucked. They were rude and wouldn't even help me... and I was new to the job. Needless to say we don't shop there anymore. Not unless we absolutely have to.
I have been to this store twice. BOTH times, I was accosted by Nazi Managers who get all huffy with me and tell me that I cannot bring my mobility scooter into the store. I then have to argue with them that, "YES, it IS allowed per the Americans with Disabilities Act!" https://www.ada.gov/opdmd.htmDo these people get ANY training? If you live in Salem, you've seen an old guy on a Segway and sucking on an oxygen hose. If you see him smile, you'll notice that his smile is only on his right side. I'm not a young kid on an exploding "hoverboard" out for a joyride, I'm a disabled old man with Emphysema, heart disease and Multiple Sclerosis trying to stay mobile. Obviously, this store would prefer that I leave my scooter at the door and CRAWL around the store, or wait for hours for one of their tank-like "old fart carts" (If for some rare reason that they are actually CHARGED up).First time this happened, I was told that they would talk to staff and update their policy. 5 years ago!
I transferred to this store and within 4 months I got fired for standing up for myself and all managers are rude and have no respect for no one.. I been with Walmart for 13 years and got fired for not signing the coaching that's was back in 2014..
Where is the 0 star button?! First there lazy they put all their clerks on the 20 item check out lanes with one clerk working the regular line. That line being full you bring your cart to the 20 item line you get treated with disrespect after purchasing over $250 bucks worth of items. Oh if you have color to your skin be prepared to be checked at the door for your receipt. You can call them right now and see if customer service can help but they will not pick up the phone I give you 0 stars walmart on Lancaster get some self check out registers since your management sucks.
Called the Photo Department 3 times directly, no one answers and phone goes dead after a time. Called the store directly and was transfered to the Photo Department and got the same results (even with overhead paging). Asked for manager and they informed me they were working on repairing the phones in that department but should pick up in one minute guaranteed. (Silence for 4 minutes.) Upon calling back again, I got through with the help of the wonderfully apologetic operator and the manager again. FINALLY someone answered (after 41 minutes of calling and 10 phone calls). [I'm patient and wanted to see how long it would take.]It was THEN that I was told by the young lady in that department she had just returned from break. [Apparently she's the ONLY one working that department.] She said there were people waiting in line when she returned. I informed her that TELEPHONE CALLS should WAIT IN LINE too and if a call came in when there were TWO people in line, that she should inform any additional people that there is a customer on the telephone that is waiting their turn and she'll be with them after the call. This department is poorly staffed and doesn't have anyone who can help when everyone is on break. Phone etiquette is POOR and only seems to give priority to IN STORE customers. ===========I only give GOLD STARS ☆☆☆☆ to the store OPERATOR who was kind, sympathetic, apologetic, and more professional.• • • Next time you're visiting the Salem Walmart store on Turner Road, let them know that I took time on the phone and here to make this comment. Hopefully, they will rise to better standards of customer care (especially on the phone)! • • •
