Calling the number got a message that the number is no longer in service. I had used them before to replace a coach battery.
GREAT PLACE TO GET YOUR RV FROM. GREAT …
We are full time RV'ers. We called from MT and scheduled a repair with Al's--slide stuck. Then our a/c went out. So, called and added to the work order. There were issues with the extended warranty company which had to be worked out between EW Co. (IN), the selling dealership (TX) and Al's. Al's team handled it all for us. They were pleasant to work with and cared about us and our concerns. Because they successfully dealt with the EW co., our deductible for both issues was only $100.00. There was $35 shop supplies but that was no biggie! They completed the slide repair in one afternoon and as soon as they received authorization from EW co, the repairs started on the a/c. They rewired it by using the a/c ductwork, shaved one day off repairs so it was only 1.5 days for the repair. The only reason this is not a 5-star rating is because we were told our food would be fine in the fridge/freezer and someone unplugged the electricity-we lost all our food.We highly recommend Al's Trailer Sales (service location).
It has been 3 weeks since he was hired to seal the entire 24' RV, replace 2 vents, change screens, replace 2 light fixtures. He still is not done with the sealing. He sealed so horrible, it looks like a child did this. He did not use blue tape until recently, leaving sealant all over my RV. He makes one excuse after another to not finish the job. His wife is in the hospital with a tumor, his cousin died, his mom is in the hospital, he ran over nails so got a flat tire, he got a ticket, to he has other jobs he has to finish and on and on and on ... My sealant IS STILL NOT DONE, and he claims he is going to finish the mess of sealant that is outside the lines. When he fixed my screen, he bent it, so now it does not go in, and he says he has to buy more screen and reput it in because he put it in too tight ... excuses, excuses, excuses ... I am beyond frustrated. And he rants on and on and on on texts, about all the excuses, all the problems, all the reasons why is can't be here, or why he will be here tonight, or tomorrow, and then tomorrow has more excuses why it will be later again. I keep telling him to stop the testing, explicit about this -- to call me, NO TEXTS! Oh and he said he started out by saying his Van got stolen, so he was here with a broken down van, then a couple days later, he had yet a different white van, and I asked him what happened to the other van, and he said this was the same van. Wow, something is very very wrong with this picture! Beware.
Had hot water heater repaired. Never worked after he worked on it. Wanted to charge me again to look at it. He did not stand behind his work. He worked on it and 2 months later we took our rv out. It did not work. I called him told him about it. His comment was not my problem. I would not use him.
My husband and I had been looking for a couple months to buy a fifth wheel. The sales department reassured me that they could order the fifth wheel that I wanted by the end of October. We waited and the end of October came and went. We sat down and negotiated the price
If you are looking for a good unit at a good price and great sales staff Al's is the place. However, make sure you have a mechanic or know someone would can work on it and don't take it to them for service. You will wait weeks on end for repair and may not even get it fixed first time. Plan any work for off season because you won't see your rig or hear from service dept timely if ever.
HORRIBLE!! Please avoid at all cost! He was hired to fix our AC,file the warranty and wash our RV. He installed the AC and did (poorly) wash the RV and install bew vent covers. He asked for cash instead of debit which is a HUGE red flag. He came up with excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't make it back to finish the job. Examples, "I was in jail for back child support" "I am attending a funeral" and so many more. After 3 weeks he has not filed the warranty has not returned the $100 cash he recieved for the vent covers that were never purchased and is ignoring all calls and texts. We are filing a police report, contacting the Better Business Bureau, and all social media outlets in hopes that no one else is harmed.
This family owned, straight-dealing company is just what we needed! We had been trying to find the right deal on the right RV for two months, and had repeated bad experiences with a much larger, chain competitor. What a relief to find a business that values integrity and honesty. Within a week of stopping by to see Tim, we were able to pick up our new travel trailer - something the competition couldn't accomplish in over two months. We got a more than fair price on a nice trailer, plenty of good information during the walk through, and left feeling great about our purchase. We haven't had to use their service department yet, but I have high hopes that it will be just as good an experience.Thank you Al's Trailers for the hassle-free honest buying experience.
Adam the parts manager will tell you he has 14 years of experience so you can trust him. He ordered me the wrong parts for my Torklift truss system and when I asked him about it, he said that was the right part so I believed him and left with what he installed for me. After doing some research on Torklift web site and talking to there techs, the truss was 16" too long for my setup. I talked to Adam and he told me he would not take it back since it was used. I reminded him that it was him that told me it was the correct part and that he needed to exchange it for me. I needed a 28" not the 42" he ordered. He refused, stating that it was the correct part since it would work, "it was just an inconvenience for me to have sticking out and not being able to use my camper step." Well I contacted Torklift again and told them what Adam said and they were nice enough to exchange it. Torklift made me a happy customer. Beware when dealing with Adam and Al's Trailer!
The salespeople at Al's were so friendly and helpful when choosing the right trailer for our family's needs. They weren't pushy like some of the other dealerships that we had visited. We left there feeling like we received a fair deal, and we'll definitely be back when it's time to trade up! We also sent a friend to Al's and they had a similar buying experience. Very satisfied.
