i am fat and lazy and this place is the best. they just keep feeding me and feeding me great food and great service.

i am a lawyer in town and i made the mistake of eating this slop with my mother mary. we both has gas and dihara for a few days. avoid this dump.

i love china food and this place delivered. when i have to go to court in salem, i try to make it here for lunch.

My husband and I had stopped by for a late dinner and it was OK . It was 9:30 no one in the dining room and just a few people at the bar. Our food came out quickly it was hot and it taste ok, so as we were sitting there talking and having dinner my husband suddenly decided he was done and wanted to go. Oddly I asked him what was wrong a few times and being the gentle men that he is he nicely informed me that he saw not 1 but 2 MICE running around!!!!!!!!!!!!! And when we told the server he informed us and this is a direct quote "Oh yeah all the time!!!!" Disgusting ������������������������

My girlfriend and her daughter along with myself entered and immediately noticed the pool tables on the right and ignored the foul smell coming from the dinning area (BIG MISTAKE!!). All 3 courses of the food were uneatable. I ordered the banana chicken (sounded different) food came to our table with dinner rolls (in a Chinese restaurant?) oh and if we wanted white rice it was extra, THE MEALS WERE HORRIBLE! Soggy tasteless chicken, bananas that had no flavor and sauce that was simply disgusting, the food tasted like the place smelled (an old dirty bar). The beef ribs were all bone (no sign of meat) and chicken wings deep fried to a crisp. This was the worse Chinese food (in fact the worse restaurant food) I have ever tried to eat, the only half way eatable food (ironically) was the dinner roll. I immediately called the waiter over and gave him my point of view. I also dared him to eat some of the food and he laughed and said 'no way'. He said he can't eat that food because it was meant for Americans. I told him it wasn't fit for consumption by any human. My girlfriend was very embarrassed at the time and wanted to leave and she paid the bill without my knowledge. If you want to get sick this is the place to eat!! I now know that the pool tables are the only thing keeping this so-called restaurant (more like pig-slop) doors open.

Have you been into Grand China Lately?? They renovated the dining room everything is super clean and very bright and cheery. They put high booths so it's nice and private no kids peering over at you. The food is still great. They are under new management now so they are offering some new dishes as well as their classics still have the best crab rangoon! The billiards has 10 tables now. Their Mai Tai's are the best! don't know where the other person is. The pool is 10 bucks for an hour unlimited people so that's a plus. They have a private room in the back for parties. Way to go Grand China we complained and you listened!! Would recommend you trying it again!!

I have to say, they have made great efforts in remodeling this restaurant that has been around longer then I have been alive. The decor is a lot better and the food is just ok. What I was excited about was the NEW pool tables they had in there. My boyfriend and I went there to have a couple drinks, apps and play pool. There mei tais are not good at all, I went to ask the bartender to tweak and she explained that she was not allowed too???? OK, customer service. Ordered some chicken wings, there were ok, funny taste i thought and played some pool for about 1hour and 1/2. Had fun...then when we were getting out license to leave (cuz they hold onto a credit card or license) found out that they charge you $10 and hour to play pool! WHAT???@@ Really??? Not impressed enough to ever go back! And it had been about 6 years since I and been there.
