Amy was wonderful and patient i must have called five times for help. Cheryl was patient and carefully explained the process to me
In the most simple way- never bought a car from an auction before, did it online, Drove the car about 50 miles and the check engine light came on so I called the auction house and the managers did everything in their power to help me. Most genuine service and seriously unexpected. Thank you so much to those kind kind people!!!!
The employees are very friendly and helpful. The girl in the key room is very pleasant and doesn't give an attitute even after going back and forth for keys for the 6-8 th time. Also, they drive the vehicles into the building during the auction, so anyone there can see if it is blowing smoke, leaking fluid, making loud noise. We are very satisfied and have several other people interested in the auction also.
My story goes like this....My BMW Convertable was becoming too expensive to maintain. I recently lost my job and my savings is going down faster than I thought. The point is I had just replaced over $1400 worth of parts 4 months ago and then it just died AGAIN! I found out about 5 weeks ago it needed another $1200 worht of work. I felt like screaming! Not sure what the deal is with my mechanic but what can I do. Not worth keeping my beautiful BMW Convertable anymore. That week I went to a couple of shady dealerships and private sales on craigslist, but the prices were high..like $8,000-$7,000 for a good Honda with good miles. I only wanted to pay like $5,000 and being by myself I was a little nervous and had a wierd experince with a weirdo on criagslist out in Lowell. I should have known better. When I was on http://Cars.com I found what appeared to be a too good to be true deal of a 2004 Honda Civic for $4900 under a this company Interstate auto Auction. I was confused why they had a price so low and why on the car if it was a auction. They told me it was a estimate...I said BS. They said if I came to the auction I could get it for less. If times were not so tough I would have made a HUGE Mistake. I got a 2004 Honda Civic Black with 78,000 miles for $4,300. And I have had it for 5 weeks. It has not needed a thing! Well actually there was a key mark on the door but I had it cleaned and it looks like new! I wish you would have known about this Auction before! This is a very very good place to go becuase you save money period and they have allot of good cars to select from.
I purchased a car online without checking it before the auction for my daughter. I should have gone in person and after taking it to a mechanic was told the car needed a lot of work. I understood that it was purchased from an auction, but I was quoted over $5,000 to fix it. I spent $5,000 for the car!!! So I called the Monday after the auction day and spoke with a gentleman named Shawn. At first I was a little rude and yelled at him without listening to him, after all this was for my daughter. Despite me being very upset, he spent the time to explain how the auction works and he also actually listened to me and although the transmission was not bad, he did seem to want to help since the quote of $5,000 to fix was so high.I was told to bring it to a local mechanic in Salem, but the car was with my daughter far away at a college. I was extremely skeptical, but I had no choice. I don't usually trust people. Come to find out their mechanic found more wrong with the car than mine did. LOL. Shawn said I could get all my money back including the fees! My daughter and I really were pleased that he cared enough to go above what I thought they would do. Next time I won't yell at him LOL. We decided to purchase another car after test driving it this time in person and my daughter has been driving it after we fixed the brakes and check engine light for a EVAP code. Thank you. We will tell all our friends about this place. Good prices too.
I found Interstate Auto on the internet. There were more cars to look at and at a cheaper price. I went there in person. The staff was very nice and polite. The procedure - buying the vehicle, getting the title and the process from the vehicle with my name - was quick and we didn't have to wait, though I didn't get there that early for the test driving. It was good.
I came across interstate auto auctions after hearing the incredible deal my buddy received on a Toyota Camry and being in the market for a newish car was my priority at the time. I did my home work and went.... I was able to get a 2008 Honda Accord for a fraction what I would pay at a dealer.
Diana was there to help me with paperwork, questions and we even had a good laugh together. I was very lucky to get this car for a great price and also very fortunate to be able to work with someone as knowledgeable as Diana through the process.
originally found this auction when I was browsing for used cars online. After viewing the inventory, I decided to head over to the auction in-person with my son for the following Wednesday auction (you can actually test drive the cars this day). To make a long story short... we ended up driving about 7 cars that actually seemed to be fairly nice!!! If I had to do this all over again - I would! My only hope is that he treats this new car with respect. Now, as far as the action goes itself... I will say this. Buying here was a great choice for me (it was fun for the both of us).
