Hawthorne Hotel, established in 1925 and located in Salem, Mass., is a federal-style hotel named after author Nathaniel Hawthorne, who spent his childhood in Salem. It offers more than 85 rooms and suites, and is furnished with 18th century-style reproduction furnishings.
