This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. The mover drank 6 energy drinks and was so hyped up that he got into a loud argument with one of my new neighbors. They are supposed to be 100% insured. They totally packed me, broke my collector glasses from Germany because they packed all of my delicate and fragile glassware into a wardrobe size box, and now Gail wants to give me two imitation glasses, that don't even stand straight, to make up for what they broke. They are the worst movers ever and Gail is a crook!!!

I have used REX Moving for all of my moving needs for the last 20 years. The movers have always been on time, quick, professional and friendly. When I moved homes (twice) they have come in, packed my belongings, moved my entire household and unpacked it in the new house. I have never had any damage and never had any missing items. They have moved my chiropractic equipment between offices (my father, 2 brothers and I are all DCs) on almost a dozen times without any damage... again all on time and all with professionalism. We had an absolutely awful experience. Every single piece of wood furniture we own is now scratched, dented, scuffed, and/or chipped due to pure negligence. The truck was filthy and we are still wiping down everything with sponges that are coming back black with dirt. Some of our items were slid across the ground rather than being picked up. Our white sofas were not wrapped and have black smudges. We paid for mattress and boxspring covers, but the covers were ripped, so the mattress and boxsprings also have black smudges. The finish on the top of our pristine white dryer was scratched and scuffed all the way down to the black metal. Rex claims to be a piano moving specialist, but thanks to them, we have a scratch all across the right side of our piano. The movers didn't pad the furniture while it was being moved and I'm not sure what padding, if any, was used inside the truck due to the amount of damage we had. There were three guys, but only one was moving furniture on and off the furniture dolly which was not sufficiently padded. We are so upset and sad about the damage to our belongings. These are pieces of furniture that we've owned for over a decade and have been through previous moves without so much as a scratch. Our encounter with Rex only lasted a few hours, but what is left behind is damage that we'll see for a lifetime. I wouldn't wish this heartache on any other business or family.
I have been using Rex movers for over 15 years to move my grand piano and household items during various moves. I have ALWAYS had a great experience with the all phases of the process. They were always accommodating to what date and time worked for me and most recently, Mike came in on his day off to get me out of a piano moving jam. Now a days good customer service is so hard to find and I would trust no one but Rex to move my belonging!! Thank you for being such a reputable company that I would feel comfortable recommending to anyone!
Only consider using the company for junk for belongings that are not to be handled properly. Some of the delivery people may be capable and cordial, but the Company staff working to coordinate from start to finish are completely inept and should not be trusted. Obviously this is the way uneducated white trash Floridians operate. Steer Clear!
Wow ,I would have to say this is a really mean person writing this complaint.First of all if the crew moving are good why not trust them with your belongings and if the people answering the phones and booking the moves( as you call white trash)bothered you so much why did you book it with them? The movers are ok but phone staff ,white trash??? I don't even know how to respond but I will pray for you and as said in the bible heaping coals! No one at Rex is white trash and I wonder how you judge what white trash is? You are no better than anyone here at Rex or anywhere as a matter of fact.What an aweful thing to say!If I was to say what I truely feel than I would be lowering myself to your level!Only Jesus knows my thoughts , forgive me Jesus! The owner of the company was not nice at all!!! The owner was very short with her responses, she seemed like she had no care for our valuables. It seemed like all she cared for was taking our money. She also dressed very provocative, I would not want her around my children. The three movers that we had were exceptional!! I think their names were Mike, Rickey and Mo. They also had some assistants from another group, that was obviously about to get out of work, but were more than willing to assist their co-workers and a family in need. The owner did not want the second group to come out to assist, she again seemed like she just wanted our money and was not willing to help. She was also VERY flirtatious with my husband and all his friends. I would recommend the movers, but never ever recommend the owner. Thanks
I have owned Rex Moving for over 25 years now and have never had such a review.It seems like this customer has it out only for me.She states my men all of them were great and she would recommend them but not me.That doesn'tsound right.If my movers did an excellent job,why complain.I would always love to send extra men on a job,I charge by the hour per man so why would I not want to send more men out if she wanted them? I do not dress unsuitable for children.I had on a nike gym outfit that day with long legged pants.If you feel that was the thing that upset you most I am sorry! I do not flirt with men at all married or unmarried!Sounds like this is about insecurities and jealousy.Very sad you feel the need to trash a great business over a personal problem such as that.My company has held the same contracts for over 20 years for a reason and it is not because of dress code or my lack of wanted to send out more men.I would love to send as many men out on a job as possible because that means more money to my company but if it is not necessary to get the job done and makes the bill a lot higher I dont.I feel it makes the price higher and then I look like I am trying to get my customer for extra money.In 25 years I have never recieved a complaint such as this! It upsets me so much to have to have this on my webb page it is just ridiculous and petty.I wish I would have seen and responded to this review sooner but I am not on the computer and had no idea till now this was here.
