Been going here since I was a child (luckily stopped 2 years ago). Desk woman was always rude to my parents and short with me. Dr. Garcia was very mean and rough with me when I was younger and I'd like to place blame on him for my current unrealistic anxieties whenever I go in for just cleanings now. I've had issues with my gums and would let them know it hurt and he would always tell me "shut up, it doesn't." I also have a small jaw that doesn't open wide (not enough for even an average size jawbreaker) but it never stopped him from trying to yank it open and tell me I was the difficult one. Do not recommend.
This was the worst dental experience of my life, which means a lot coming from someone who has had dental work performed in a third world countries. My first sign of trouble should have been the troll they had working as a receptionist. Rude doesn't even cover it. During my X-rays, the tech tripped on the cord running from mouth to the x-ray machine, fish hooking me out of the chair - my cheek is still hurts 4 days later. As I sat in the chair, I peered around the room waiting for the dentist to come check on me. That's when I noticed the crevices of the machine were filthy, the screen (that I assume was a tv) on the machine had water / splatter marks all over it, and I could see black stuff behind the tools on their caddy. Dr. Garcia spent about a minute in a half before telling me I'm fine with no cavities, and didn't ask me if I had questions or concerns before skipping off. When I asked the tech about a mark near one of my gum lines, she responded that they'd "check it out the next time." WTF?! After leaving, I decided to go somewhere else to get my teeth cleaned that could see me sooner and came highly recommended from a friend. I asked Park Street Dental if they could forward my X-rays... the Troll said I would have to come back in to sign paperwork, which I did. When I asked her to cc me on the email, she said she could only send 1 email. I actually had to explain to here what a 'cc' meant. Then she told me she'd get to it the following day. It is now the following day and guess what... Tons Of Fun still hasn't sent them.
I have been a long time patient of Dr Garcia. The dental care I have received over the years is beyond compare. None of the dental work has ever needed to be repaired. The staff is friendly and informative. Being able to go to a general dentist and have most procedures done without being referred to a specialist is a tremendous time saver. I would definitely recommend Dr Garcia to friends, colleagues, and family. Keep a healthy smile!!!
My family and I are new to the St. Petersburg area. We found Park Street Dental through the list of providers with our insurance. The staff and Dr. Garcia were all very courteous and explanatory. The office has a very comfortable atmosphere and the staff is friendly and calming. I would highly recommend and have already referred my family and friends to this office for dental care. Continue to keep patients smiling!!!

The overall experience myself and my family have had over the years has been wonderful. The staff is friendly and courteous. My youngest child had such a fear of going to the dentist, as I did and we do not feel so anxious. The doctor and staff make you feel comfortable and they thoroughly explain all treatment so you understand what is going on. I would definitely recommend Park Street Dental to family and friends!

This office has very poor customer service. They are listed as preffered providers on insurance websites but what that does not explain is that they do not offer services that are covered by the insurance. $1800.00 is an exorbitant fee for three fillings, especially when the insurance is only paying a few hundred of that. I am just lucky that we asked first BEFORE the work was done. Then when you have to change dentists they charge you again for copies of YOUR xrays.
They definitely need to get better in the customer service area. Until then I would definitely NOT recommend.
