The people that work in the hotel are so very nice, and accomodating. The hotel is 100 years old that has lots of history. Beautiful verandas, living room type sitting areas, and it's very clean. Free breakfast is included with a chef there to make your eggs, omlettes, and gluten free pancakes that are awesome. Loved this place, and can't wait to go back and visit soon. Would recommend this place to everyone.
From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like you've stepped back into time. You rest, relax, heal and get inspired. It is extremely quaint with individual seating rooms, two vortexs, pool and each floor has had a celebrity or two as quests over the past 100 years. Meals are delicious cooked by a talented chef. Tons to do around the area. Make sure you make an appointment with Dr. Mark W. Tong (Healer) and/or Barbra for a Crystal massage.
Perfect location in downtown St. Pete! Rooms are nice and staff is very friendly! I would highly recommend.
Bed bugs in room 116. I told them and they called me stupid. I slept in my car while charging my phone in their room. Really bad hotel
I stumbled along this place passing through to visit some friends across the bridge. I needed somewhere just to reset for a few hours and end up staying for the whole weekend. This property has so much to offer, and I hadn’t even noticed that there was a private beach located right on the propert, until the following morning. I mean the rooms are neat and clean, grounds are amazing it made me feel as if I was off in the Caribbean, the hotel staff were pleasantly friendly and helpful including the bartenders in the Tiki hut. I did not have to the leave the hotel for anything. I believe I just found my own little slice of solitude. I will definitely be back…….
Love going to the canopy on the rooftop. It is a great view of the water and the staff is very friendly. They have tons of drink options and comfortable patio furniture to lounge in.
I've stayed at some pretty shady places with my travels, but this one takes the cake. I made the unfortunate mistake of booking a week on line and have regretted my decision from the minute I walked into the room. First of all, the room stunk. Not to smoke but to something I still cannot put my finger on. My shoes stuck to the floor and after taking a shower my cat jumped into the tub. He left black paw prints on everything he jumped on and that was only after a short period of time of walking on the carpet. The bed was suppose to be a queen size, but I got two doubles. When I asked to be moved, I was told their key card machine was broken and I did not have a choice. Ok, it gave me an extra bed for storage, I could handle that. But when I crawled into bed, it sagged, squeeked and rocked back and forth because a leg was broken. The other bed was not much better. Not only was the bed and carpet disgusting, but he walls looked like they had not been wiped or painted in decades. I still have no idea what was on the wall over the television. The door did not shot tight, the dead bolt did not work and the safety latch was broken. The telephone did not work, the television was from 1975 and the refrigerator had something in it. There are no amenities accept the pool. For work, I need to fax or copy and neither are available here.On a positive note, they allowed my cat. So unless you are up for an adventure, I would avoid this place.
