Left work today at 9pm and was passing Denny's on my way home and thought "mmmm French toast sounds good" and of course they just remodeled so I was curious as to what the new insides looked like. Nothing special. The bathroom was a disgusting mess. Every stall had a floater. There was no toilet paper. No paper towels. I waited almost thirty minutes for my food. I misread the menu and thought two slices of French toast meant two pieces of bread, oh well my mistake no biggie, I laughed it off with the server who instead of saying something along the lines of "I'm sorry about that is there anything I can do for you?" Said "oh well for future reference there are other French toast meals on the menu". Thanks bud that doesn't help me now... Whatever. To top that all off my eggs, bacon, and hasbrowns were burnt. Like bacon turns to dust when you touch it and the hasbrowns hurt your teeth to bite into. Tried to wave our server down a few times for our bill but he was too busy gabbing behind the soda machine with another server about another server. I finally just gave up and asked the manager for the check at the register where my served tried to tell me he was busy with a "needy nine top". How incredibly unprofessional! For one I could see him from my booth and hear every word he had to say about hia coworker so I know he wasn't taking care of his "needy" table either and for Twp don't complain about your guests. What a jerk. Needless to say "for future reference" remodeled or not I won't return.
