The reason I left 4 stars is because they told me they would get back to me with a solution in 24 hours and it’s been 72 and I still have not received a call back. The tech they sent out the first time was in and out and fixed the recall on my washer so no issues with that. right now I don’t have a working washer and I’m still waiting for a call. I would recommend them for your service. I just don’t think they realize when they tell someone they will call that we will be waiting because we need clean laundry.

Mid America was the 2nd repair person I called after the first company that came out refused to work on my Jenn Air 48" built-in refrigerator. I explained my situation to Mid America, they sent their best technician out to diagnose my fridge. He was very thorough, very familiar with this particular model, got the fridge running and gave me two possible scenarios for the issue I had experienced. Depending on if the fridge held temperature over the next week would determine which repair route to take. He gave me an instant estimate for both scenarios and explained very clearly what each would entail. I'm happy to report the fridge is holding temperature, meaning my repair route is the much less expensive route. I'm happy to have my Jenn Air back!
A couple of weeks ago our dryer started making a really loud noise. Still dried the clothes but was really irritating. Bought the set in 2015 from Lowe’s and have the extended warranty (A MUST). Called Lowe’s and they sent Mid America. Before they left, my wife asked about the quieter but still irritating noise the dryer was making. They told her it was normal. The dryer did warm up, but now it took 2-4 cycles for a load to dry. Had a busy two weeks before I finally could call Lowe’s back. They arranged for this same company to come back. Unfortunately I wasn’t here. The “technician” claims there is no noise. He turned it on for about a minute and it was heating up so he said there’s nothing wrong. When my wife said it takes 2-4 cycles for a load of clothes to dry he told her to use the timed drying. I purposely bought a high-efficiency dryer with sensored-settings. Why should I forgo specific features of my appliance I paid to have? Let me illustrate it this way: if your transmission isn’t shifting and the mechanic gets in, starts it up and moves it a few feet so that it’s never required to shift but tells you the vehicle moves so there’s nothing wrong with it, don’t you have to question is mechanical knowledge?! To compound it, if he tells you, “Well, you should just drive it slow so it doesn’t fail to shift”, you’d know he’s incompetent! If you have an appliance warranty through Lowe’s and have to use it, be sure they don’t send Mid America Service! If you are looking for ANY kind of appliance repair, DON"T CALL this company!
