I have been going to this salon for seven years. My mother and dearly departed grandmother have been going there for even longer. I have had more bad color jobs than good ones and I have been disappointed for the last time. The work is incredibly inconsistent and overpriced. The receptionist is very immature and rude. The salon didn't use to be this way. The first three years I went I was treated with respect and a smile and I had Hollywood level hair. If your looking to be pampered and get a high quality color job every time don't go here. If your looking for a simple cut and don't care about the pleasantries like being offered a beverage or not being made to wait while the receptionist makes phones calls and then snarls at you then this is your place.
My daughter and I have been long-time clients, typically spending $4500+/year (cut, color, waxing, manis, pedis, facials, etc). Recently, I asked the head stylist to cut my hair to the middle of my back, with the shortest layer being near my shoulders so I can still pull it back. She cut all my hair to my shoulders - 10 inches. After several attempts, I was finally able to speak with the manager. I simply and politely asked that I not be charged for the haircut. She committed to get back to me the next day. I never heard back, despite the fact that I called back twice more. Invariably, you’re eventually going to run into a problem as a customer. You can tell a lot about a company by the way they respond, or don’t in this case.
