I had the length of two 100% polyester open-bottom sweatpants shortened; She did a great job. I recommend you spend the extra time trying on your pants there and having her do the measurements to make sure you will be happy when she is finished. And when she is finished she will have you try them on to make sure you are happy with her adjustments as well. I would go there again if I need any alterations. Bel -Aire Cleaners lost a customer today. I dropped off 2 items, a down comforter and a cotton bedspread BOTH were washable and did not need to be dry cleaned. I told them that I wanted them both laundered and placed on hangers. Gave them my 25% off coupon. I was shocked when I picked up today and the bill came to $57.00!!! They had been dry cleaned NOT laundered as I requested!! The clerk said they treat household/down filled items differently and reminded me that I saved 25% due to the coupon!! Thanks for that I guess. Told her they did not follow my instructions and I was left paying for it. I could have gone to the laundry mat down the street and done it myself for less than $15.00. Plus they did not place them on hangers as requested and instead placed them both in a huge plastic bag. If they felt it was better to dry clean than launder my items as I requested, they had my phone number and could have called me instead of doing a more expensive cleaning and sticking me with the added costs. There was no manager on duty at the time I picked up.
They do an okay job, but today, Saturday, I arrived at 2:59 (they close at 3:00) to pick up my 35 shirts. The lady behind the counter would barely acknowledge me standing at the locked, glass door. I understand locking the door at closing time, but if a customer is standing there with $$ and you aren't open again until Monday, it would be good customer relations to be a little flexible. It is obvious they don't care about my business, so once I get my shirts on Monday, I will be going to a competitor.

They completely ruined my Valentino jacket. It had beadwork along the front openings. I got it back with a little bag of beads and others barely hanging on. They gave me a $20 store credit. I have had decent service in the past but if they are incapable of handling anything more complex than a business shirt, I am in the market for a new cleaner. $20? Seriously?
I took a family heirloom baptism dress here to be cleaned and pressed and when I got it back it had completely different buttons attached to it. No one from the business told me about the buttons or asked me if they could change the buttons. When I went in to ask what happened, the lady at the desk said she needed to contact her supervisor to see what was going on. The supervisor said they weren't sure if the dress even had buttons on when it came in....I showed them a picture clearly showing the original buttons. Nobody knew what happened to the buttons, where the buttons went, and why there were new buttons attached to my family heirloom!! Besides the different buttons, they were poorly sewn on and did not really match the garment. They also said they called me to ask about the buttons - I NEVER received any call from them at all and I showed them the call history on my phone. Needless to say I was livid, and they refused to reimburse me at all! They said I could go buy different buttons, bring them in, and they would sew them on for free! Really?! I'm pretty sure something happened to the original buttons and nobody wanted to confess to their screw-up! Update: Since this mishap, the management at the cleaners has contacted me. She tried to rectify the situation by offering to reimburse for my troubles and the mistake made on their part. She was very apologetic and sincere about maintaining a satisfactory customer experience. I was given an explanation about what might have happened with my garment and understand that this thing does happen from time to time in dry cleaning. Although it took a little while and an online review to get some answers, they did rectify the situation and work to maintain their high level of customer satisfaction.

Stay away. Took a suit jacket in with what looked like a food stain on the lapel that I think had come from the tailor as I had never worn the coat. I had no proof however so I just had it cleaned. Picked it up, returned home and discovered that where the stain had been, there now was a hole. I returned and was told first that the coat was badly worn. After I said it had never been worn, they response was shoddy fabric (I got it at Macys, Lauren label), then she took it back and came back now claiming moths had done it. No refund and a complete denial of responsibility. She did tell me to have a nice day however.
