My experience went from Good to Horrifying. This was my second visit to Midas in Apple Valley on 03/01. My first visit was a couple of weeks prior to have a tune up, this time I was getting my suspension replaced and a allignment. On 03/01 I had an appt to bring in my car at 8:30, I was told that the total time should be about 2 1/2 hours at about 11:30 when I didn't hear from Midas I called to inquire on my car. I was told that they had a problem with getting the control arm in my car, and that they was also waiting on a alligment rack to become available to do my allignment. I was told it should be about another hour. At this point I had already missed my appointments I had scheduled for that afternoon, I was not happy. At about 1:30 I called for a second time and was told that they were just about to call me, and that my car was ready. For the inconvience the manager gave me $10 off and a punch card that after so many punches I can get a free oil change. I only had my car for a little while when my car started feeling different and making noises I've never heard before, it was worst than when I first took it in. I called Midas immdiately and spoke with the manager, he asked if I could bring it in the next day (sat), I couldn't because of my schedule, we both agreed that Monday would be good. I had to call off work on Monday 03/04, I got to Midas at about 8:30 the manager came back to the lobby at about 9:30 to tell me the bad news... He said that he found that the service I paid for was improperly installed by them (control arm), and that also triggered the way the car was driving (wheel allignment) then he says it's more... We accidentally blew your tire while trying to back out, the mechanic accidentally rode over some dubree that wasn't cleaned up... I'm in shock and then I say "Are you serious? Please make the repairs and take me home asap". My car was there for almost the whole day again, they repaired my tire free of charge, and they say they fixed the problem with my allignment and control arm. I will still take my car in to another car place for a second opinion to make sure it was done correctly this time. They not only inconvienced me, I lost 2 days of work, and they put my family safety at risk. For the inconvience the manager gave me a free oil change. I told them that's not enough, so then they offered a $50 in store credit... Are you serious? I will never ever go back, NEVER EVER.
