        General Info
        Dan Spadino started Blacktop Concepts Inc. in 1978. Their expertise is in residential driveways, both new construction and replacement of existing driveways. Dan has owned and operated the company for over 30 years and has built a reputation of high quality and fairly priced work. Each driveway designed and built represents and reflects the integrity of the company and shows as a model in each neighborhood we visit. The approach we use from start to finish with homeowners and contractors encompasses good communication and personal recommendations on all aspects of the work to be performed. Specifications: Soil conditions dictate the amount of sight recommendation we recommend. When soil conditions are good we install 4-5 of inches of road base unless it is already present. Freshly rolled and compacted grade base will stay exposed for 7-10 days on average before installing a finished 3 inches of hot asphalt. The new asphalt is rolled and compacted and all edges are beveled and tamped at 45 degrees. During the 7-10 days that the driveway is open, we encourage normal traffic. Once paved, unless there is an emergency, we recommend that you stay off for three days. Foot traffic is fine after one evening. All of our driveways are built with longevity in mind and we guarantee them for five years.

        Dan Spadino is the most friendly professional I have had the pleasure of meeting, bid price was fair and the work was done on schedule. Blacktop Concepts took extra efforts to keep or new property clean while installing our new driveway. Thanks Dan!

        We spoke to several Blacktop contractors, and we decided to go with Blacktop Concepts. Dan Spadino was very, very professional and listened to what we wanted done on our long driveway. He more than delivered....the driveway is beautiful, smooth and engineered to have the water run off correctly. The seams up to our cement driveway and the natural stone are perfect. The job they did exceeded our expectations, which is rare in today's world!! Thanks Dan!

        IT ISN'T OFTEN YOU GO TO THE DIRECTORY AND RANDOMLY PICK A CONTRACTOR THAT YOU END UP

        THINKING OF AS A FRIEND, WHEN THE JOB IS DONE. THIS WOULD NOT BE NORMAL AT LEAST FOR ME.

        BUT I MET A MAN NAMED DAN SPADINO OWNER OF BLACTOP CONCEPTS. DAN WAS SO HELPFUL

        AND ACCOMMODATING. I TOLD DAN WHAT I WANTED TO ACCOMPLISH, HE LISTENED AND THEN WENT ABOUT DESIGNING AND ADDING HIS EXPERTISE TO THE PROJECT. THE RESULT IS AMAZING. THE QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP IS IMPRESSIVE RIGHT DOWN TO THE FINE FINISHING DETAILS. HIS CREW IS MADE

        UP OF COURTEOUS, CARING AND HARD WORKING MEN. THE PRICE DAN QUOTED AND THE COMPLETION
