After our refinance, it cost us an additional $767.91 to have my previous mortgage completely paid off. The payoff quote was 'read wrong' by the title company (Future advice: If it is questionable to read, a phone call should be made to verify the correct amount). And on top of the difference I owed, because it was wired to payoff on 9/29 (Friday), and the mortgage company didnt get to it until Monday (now October), We get screwed with a full month of October interest on top of what the mistaken difference was. We are not happy.
The people that work at the Stillwater building is great but the staff that works at Arcadia Park Apartments in North Saint Paul is very dishonest and will lie to your face with a smile and will do anything for money on and off the books I have lived in Arcadia Park Apartments for 8 years and I had enough so I'm moving on to greener pastures. If you rent from them don't rent in the 55109 area if you do you'll see for yourself i wish someone told me before I came here and I would have found something else waiting for things to get better was a huge mistake by me if a person build a foundation on lies waiting for them to tell the truth is like waiting for the sky to fall it's not going to happen
If you’re hard working, intelligent, clean, drug free, ignorance and prejudice free...DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I repeat do not move here. Pete owner of the past two years is trash. His only motivation in life is to cheat people out of money and rob people for any dime he can get. The property is in Shoreview, but the property is extremely ghetto & un-safe. I’ve seen nicer & safer apartment complexes over North Minneapolis.

Management is letting go of our lease with no explanation at all. We know we're not the first to have problems with management. Workers past and present here don't like how they're treated. Past and currents residents also said they weren't treated well. Examples of behavior by management includes: micromanaging, lack of communication, pushing two-children families to leave (though fire code permits two), heavy fines for late rent and other rules here, unwelcoming, won't fix problems in apartments and/or denies the problem. Management removed a third of the garages, said they'd replace them and never have. Lastly, MANAGEMENT RAISED RENT FOR EVERYONE to fix their OUT-OF-DATE ELEVATORS; the letter was sent to everyone.
I am a current resident but don't think that I would recommend this apartment (or the related MacLaren Hill next door) to anyone. While I think that the apartments are nice and reasonable, I am more concerned with the safety of the area and residents. There have been many car break-in and burglary in the past few months. I was a victim to an attempted burglary of my vehicle that resulted in vandalism. The management is aware of these events that have happened but do not seem to be taking any steps to improve the area and prevent these incidents from happening. Suggestions have been given to management to help improve these grounds/area/residents but they seem to be ignored. While much of the vandalism has been in the parking areas at this time I am concerned that it may move to the apartments and put residents at some sort of risk. I will admit that I am naive when it comes to stuff like this, but I really don't trust this area and would not recommend this location to a friend.While the staff is nice and easy to get along with, I think public safety in the area is the main concern and don’t feel anything is being done about it to improve the area. The train tracks are very close and REALLY loud. It make it hard to have your windows open because it is hard to talk to others or listen to the TV when they go by. They go by really often. If you are a light sleeper, this place won’t be for you.
the absolute worst place to live. being there for 2 years I never had one good experience with the leasing office/management. only good employee there is the maintenance guy Dave. they hire good looking girls who don't know an ounce about being in a leasing office. it's unheardof how much of a money pit they are. trying to get every penny from every college kid who falls prey to their flashy tshirts, boring paint job and disgusting hot tub. the management are the most unhelpful/useless staff ever. not sure if it's due to the ownership change or what but I will never tell anyone to even go to their website let alone pay them rent. never send your kids there. please.
WARNING!!! DO NOT RENT AT THIS PLACE!!!! Management sucks! Main entrance door to building is always broken and never fixed. Once fixed, it breaks again in a few days, stays broken more than it stays working correctly. Advertised with dishwasher, ceiling fans, and garbage disposal but my apartment didn't come with any. Apartment has ant and roach infestation and carpets in hallways are dirty. No parking by late evening and only 4 visitor parking space. Some cars has been stolen and cops are always patrolling the parking lots. Rent increased by 15% after it's time for a renewal. I'm glad my contract is only for 9 months and I'm definitely not renewing my contract. If this is what you want, go ahead and rent from this place.
