Customer service less than disappointing it was abysmal. Unnecessarily long waiting lines. Customers more knowledgeable than employees.
If I could do all my shopping online I would. Then I would know how much time I would wait for my order. Recently I shopped at Joanne fabric in Woodbury. I had only one item in my cart. There were half a dozen customers ahead of me at the cutting table. Four had only one or two items in their carts. The other two had carts mounded with bolts of fabric. Two and sometimes three clerks were serving us.I waited nearly 1/2 hour to get my one item measured. It only took a couple of minutes. The same was true for the other four. All five of us could have been served in less than half the time it took to serve one of the big customers. But we had to wait while the customers with mounded carts were served. To add insult to injury one of the clerks and one of the big customers were old friends who were SLOWLY catching up with each other. The clerks seemed oblivious to the fact that there were so many of us waiting. I spoke with a manager who said others had made the same request but she couldn’t do anything about it. It was a corporate decision. Corporate will be hearing from me.
After 40 years of going to the Apple Valley store, I'm done! The customer service is lacking and the store is dumpy. They have really gone downhill. My last experience, was my last. I left angry and frustrated over 2 situations. Corporate should take these reviews seriously. With on-line shopping, Michael's and other craft/fabric stores, I will be surprised if this store stays open much longer.
Sat in line waiting my turn, cashier called for backup, lady behind me asked for assistance and backup cashier helped her first after I protested. Horrible customer service. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store and will not return here again!
Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! I had called this location on my way to the store to verify they had the exact thing I needed in store, the woman on the phone said, "don't worry we have plenty here, I just seen it" I got to the store 20 minutes later and there was no fabric!! Then the woman I was speaking to told me it was my fault because I didn't tell anyone to put it on hold! First of all if they "had plenty" what are the odds of it selling out in 20 mins and second of all, maybe the woman who answered should have offered to put it on hold!! Pathetic!
Cheap stuff. Minimum service. You get what you pay for...
