Located in St. Matthews, S.C., Calhoun County High School serves more than 490 students in grades nine through 12, and is governed by Calhoun County Public Schools. The high school offers various college preparatory, family and consumer sciences, vocational and special education programs, and its curriculum also includes arts, English, health education, math, music, science, and social studies. Its sport programs include cheerleading, field hockey, soccer, cross-country, basketball, wrestling, track and field, tennis, baseball, and softball. The school provides a wide range of extracurricular activities, guidance and counseling services, and has a fully equipped library. Calhoun County High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, which is one of the highest national accrediting agencies for schools in the Southeast. Calhoun County Public Schools provides comprehensive curriculum and instructional programs, and its curriculum meets the standards set by the South Carolina Department of Education.
