Apex Moving and Storage was a good choice. Hired them for a small move to NY. Their reputation and the sales rep Brian is what sold me. I would use them again and refer them. I had no damage, hidden charges, lost or stolen items. This is the 3rd time I used a mover and Apex was the better of the 3.
My move was just completed by Apex Moving and Storage and I had a good experience as well. The crew of movers were hilarious, professional and worked hard to ensure things would arrive intact. It was a pleasant surprise considering the worry and fear that I had coming across a shady moving company.I used Apex because they have glowing reviews, and my moving coordinator Justin was straightforward and did not try and sell me some nonsense. He even went as far as telling me what can go wrong and how to avoid having issues such as overcharges, damage etc. I was very pleased with these guys and although I won't be moving for a while but I will call them again when needed.
Apex Moving and Storage did fine and everybody was great. The moving coordinator is a young woman who took all information and she helped me a lot. I didn't have any problems with the delivery and pickup crew. The move was in February and it was a direct move from North Carolina to DelRay beach. They took the normal time to get from where I lived to where I am now. All in all, I was pleased.
We've used Gateway Moving three times to move between houses in Los Angeles. They are always reliable, friendly, fast, safe, and dependable. Best of all, we find their moving fee to be very reasonable, and well within the budget of anyone moving that has a lot of large furniture items. We were pleasantly surprised by them the first time we used them, and continue to use them, and recommend them to anyone we know that needs movers.
Apex Moving and Storage did a great job. The person I spoke with was very helpful with the information and their price was very reasonable. The delivery guys were very dependable, right on time and very accurate. They were also very respectful and careful of the property, very quick and knew what they had to do. It amazed me how they did that. Also, when they put the furniture back together, they didn’t put one thing back correctly. A young lady called and the follow up was good. Apex is a great company and I have given their name and number to a few people.
I looked online for movers in the area and called Apex Moving and Storage. I told them what I wanted and where I was going and when. They were very efficient and came up with the estimate right away. They were specific about what it was going to cost and that's what it cost. The crew was great and the woman that did the arrangement was terrific. I would recommend them to other people.
I liked Apex Moving and Storage's price and their moving coordinator was very good. Initially, after I told I him I was going to go with the company that gave me the lowest quote, he sent a follow up and told me to please give them a call if my plans changed. So, when my original movers cancelled on me three days before the move, I called Apex up and they were very accommodating. They held the same quote that they previously gave me, which was the second lowest among the quotes I got, and we were able to move on the same day that I originally requested. Their delivery crew was a little late, but everything was done so quickly. They finished in exactly three hours.
Gateway Moving movers were efficient, professional, diligent, and friendly. I felt so guilty sitting in the backyard with my coffee while they carried everything to the truck. After delivery, they even offered to move boxes from room to room if I wanted them to. Potted plants arrived safely, furniture was padded and wrapped, and the husband was delighted with our selection of moving company. Thank you, Gateway!
Apex Moving and Storage's rep Mark exceeded my expectations. I had to make a few changes, and he handled my challenges of having to reschedule some of the dates with professionalism. He was always there, and he gave me his cellphone number. We spoke more times than I wished I had to! He did a great job. Also, the pickup crew was on time and finished on time. They packed my stuff which went to storage, and a few days later, they delivered.
At times, I sit back and reflect on a lot of things. One of the things that keep recurring is the Illinois-Florida relocation. I can’t really tell what was so significant in that movement but I keep finding myself thinking about it. Maybe it sis because of the perfection that came along with it. Nonbinding vs. Binding Contracts

For both local and long-distance moving companies, AMSA is another good place to check out a company's legitimacy. Moving companies aren't required to be an AMSA member, but the ones that are have committed to the association's rules and regulations, which protect both the companies and the consumers hiring them. If a company isn't an AMSA member, that doesn't mean it isn't reputable, but an AMSA membership is a clear indication of legitimacy.
