The statements reported by Donnie Beavers are completely false. On November 25, 2009 a judge in Warren County took judgment for possession plus $3,625.00 plus court costs against Donnie Beavers, a tenant residing at 113 Plum in Holstein in Marthasville,63357, MO. Further, Beavers refused to leave the premises after a 10 day statutory move out date and was removed thanks to the actions of the local sheriff. Beavers left the home in deplorable condition. Trash, old clothes, and assorted junk were left everywhere, including one room completely covered with dog feces. He purposely broke 3 glass plates, stuffed and flushed the toilet full of paper and trash so it was no longer functional. Walls and carpets were left soiled and damaged. He left motor parts and automotive parts all over the garage and threw large amounts of old motor oil on the floor. It took a substantial amount of time and money to restore the damage done by Beavers to this home. There were several violations to the lease. Beavers and his guests: Fired automatic military style weapons at all times day and night. Threatened a neighbor with a gun. Operated an illegal mechanic business out of the home. Beavers had at least 6 cases filed against him in Missouri in 2009, including Criminal, Adult Abuse/Protection Order and small claims over $ 100.00. Further Beavers had at least 2 cases filed against him in Illinois including Criminal Damage, obstruction of justice and assault. To complete the picture, Beavers had 2 Ripoff-Reports filed against him and his former company: Turbo Lube. It is unfortunate that our Credit Verification Agency did not catch the history of this individual. - we could have avoided this whole situation. A partial explanation the credit agency gave me for the foul-up was that Beavers often utilized incomplete and inaccurate information making him harder to trace. I have lived in St. Louis metro area for 30 years and have lived in 4 different associations. Two of which were managed by Smith Management Group. To be able to compare services amongst 3 different management companies as well as experience of serving on a board for 3 years, I can contest that the Smith Management Group is by far superior in all aspects of management services in the St. Louis area. They are always available, have many services for residents, and the customer service is by far superior in my opinion. I recommend Smith Management Group based on my experience and involvement with community living. As mentioned I have now dealt with 3 management companies. This is my fourth and final move in St. Louis and while shopping for an association, I asked who was managing the association as this was a partial decision maker where my wife and I would reside. I can contest that my wife and I were pleased to hear that the association we wanted to be part of was managed by Smith Management. We recently had to request some help from their staff as we recently just moved in and man, it’s great to have a company that simplifies solutions. Oh and so friendly. I feel like they care about their job, its almost as though they are a family… Anyhow, I thought it would be fare to share our experience. Thanks staff at Smith Management Group.
My experiences renting from this company is brief. The lease started September 1st of 2010. It was a full month before I could move in and since then have not called the office except for the one day this spring when someone had their car stuck in the yard in the front of the property. Our conversation was brief but Bernardo sounded like a very nice man. I had a small dump truck of ½ inch clean rock brought in and I spread it under the shed on the north side of the barn and in front of the bedroom doorway. I think it is a great improvement and remedied the mucky mess that was there. I really like doing that kind of thing; simple and fundamental improvements. My only regret is that I cannot do more but that would not be prudent being that I only rent. The house is warm in the winter, easy to heat. The new flooring in the bath and bedroom is very nice and overall the property is very nice and pleasant. I look forward to enjoying more time here although I will be keeping my shoes and belongings put up because the neighbor’s dog likes to steal my things and take them home!
I have been renting from Brunetti Realtors for the past eleven years (two years at one location and nine years at my current location). When I was getting married nine years ago, I went to Brunetti Realtors first to see if they had a bigger apartment that we could rent from them. The quality of service that this company provides on a daily basis is outstanding, and my new husband and I wanted to continue to rent from such a well-organized and professional rental company. During my eleven years as a tenant, I have been impressed time and time again with the response time on repairs. Whenever there has been something we needed, all we ever had to do was give a quick call to Shirley and our repair was taken care of quickly and professionally. Our condo assn switched to Smith Management about 6 months ago, and the improvements are such a relief. The billing errors on our account were finally corrected, the lawnmowers finally started doing their job correctly, and the grounds look so much better. Many of our neighbors were really starting to let their places go, leaving personal items and trash in the halls and on their patios, but this is also being cleaned up, there is a big improvement. The property manager is very easy to talk to and seems to really know what she is doing. I am very happy our board made this change. We would like to see more features on the website, like a message board for residents, but at least I can get our bylaws now for free, and we can also pay our dues online which is really nice.
We’ve lived in a Brunetti Realtors apartment in Richmond heights for the past two years. We feel that repairs are done timely following report to the office. It does not take long to have somebody come to attend to repairs in the premise. We also have had a good relationship with the management whenever we call, we always find somebody who will answer our questions or convey the necessary information to the concerned. The only time we had a problem was when we requested an occupancy permit that we felt it took a different turn of events being misinformed on how to go about it. Lastly, we’ve enjoyed our stay in your premise and it has been a wonderful two years. We hope to continue living here as long as our jobs can hold us here in St. Louis, Missouri. John and Lucy
We moved into the Smile Lofts in Soulard last month from Springfield, IL. I have to say, Red Brick has been very good to us. They worked with us on every detail of our move right down to the best time to move in and right place to park. We've had to call maintenance twice regarding a broken dishwasher soap dispenser and a toilet seal. Both issues were handled professionally and promptly. I also asked that a deadbolt be installed to the apartment upon signing the lease. This is something they did not have to do but graciously did without argument to make my family feel safe. I would say this company has gone above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and comfortable and will recommend this company to any that inquire. Signed, a happy resident.

As we've been in the business of Commercial Real Estate for over 60 years this is the first negative complaint we have received. The Better Business Bureau heard Ms. Dimitroff’s complaint and decided that a “good faith effort” was made to her and dismissed her claim. 22 Company is a great company to live with. I just recently moved out after living with them for 4 years. The maintenance staff was quick to respond and very efficient about fixing anything I called in. The office staff answered communication very quickly and got things done. My apartment was in a 100 year old building and therefor not perfect, but it was very well maintained and updated. My move out went very smooth and communication about how the procedure works and expectations were very clear up front. I got a full refund back and was very happy. I will continue to recommend 22 Company to my friends as I have for the last 4 years.
I have been a tenant since December 1st, 2007. My interactions with Brunetti Realtors and with the repair men have been pleasant. On a couple of occasions when I needed repairs, I got a return phone call promptly, and maintenance was scheduled and carried out in a timely fashion. Aside from two other minor maintenance issues, I have been happy with Brunetti Realtors. I like the apartment and the neighborhood, and for the most part, being one of your tenants has been a good experience.
