I live real close to this Gas Mart & I really like it. The employees are always very nice except for one. I don't know her name but I think she works part-time because I don't see her there everyday. When she is there it's usually in the afternoon. She has dark hair & always acts like she couldn't care less that she has that job. She's never friendly to me & always has an attitude. One day there was a customer in front of me, I don't know what he did that she didn't like(I personally didn't see him do anything wrong) but she made a face like he did something that made her frustrated. She didn't greet me, didn't thank me after my purchase, then I told her to have a good day & she said nothing. Personally, I don't think she has the qualities it takes to give simple satisfying customer service. Avoid going in there in the afternoons. The mornings & evenings are the times to go in there.
When did everyone start asking PAYING customers to leave? Is this something new? I thought only those who were loitering or attempting to steal had that to look forward to. Sounds strange but that's exactly what happened to me a couple of nights ago at this location. I only stopped to make a fuel purchase and to get lotto tickets for someone but apparently the attendant on duty had a little trouble I guess. Although she's been "doing this for years" it seems she's clueless as to what a "Quick Pick" is. If you suddenly come up with what might be winning numbers DO NOT stop here at the last minute. It may definitely be bad luck.
I like this PetroMart however, I feel intimidated when using PM gas pumps because on several occasions I have been approached by vagrants asking for gas money. I tell them that all I have is a credit card (which is true) but their harassment persists. I work nights and generally stop by this PM at 2AM & 4AM. On one occasion I stopped by at 4AM but didn’t get out of my car because I could see someone lurking in my review mirror. I left without gas even though I needed some. I came back the next night at 2AM and was again accosted by the same person from the previous night. I will be getting my gas elsewhere if this continues.
FIRST I WANNA SAY THAT THE CREW THERE ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY ...THEY CAN CHANGE ALSO BUT THATS BECAUSE OF THE CUSTOMERS THAT ACK SO IGNORANT WHEN IT GETS DARK...THEY ALWAYS HELP YOU OUT . I KNOW THE MANAGER NICK WICH ALSO GOES BY ARAB FOR A LONG TIME . HE TAKES CARE OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND MAKES SURE HIS EMPLOYEES ARE ON POINT .. THEY ALWAYS BEAT THE COMPETITORS PRICE IN GAS AND I LOVE THAT THEY SELL EVERYTHING .. CANT WAIT TIL THEY OPEN UP THEIR KITCHEN ..THEY ALWAYS KEEP US COMING BACK ...UNLIKE CROWN MART DOWN THE STREET ...ATTITUDES FOR NO REASON ..BUT UNITED MART IS WHERE MY BUSINESS STAYS ...THEY HELP US SO WE HELP THEM
The service here was exceptional! Jim went above and beyond expectations. I pulled up (after shop hours) and he came right out and asked how he could help. I said I was having trouble getting my back license plate off because the screws were rusted. He said he would be happy to help me out, got his tool box and unscrewed the bolts for me. Then he put my new license plate on. Going forward, I will go to this Shell station for all my auto needs. Jim is a breath of fresh air these days when all you seem to get are workers who act like you are putting them out. Tell your friends!!!! :)
Recently I visited this particular station to have an oil change and inspection on my new Toyota. Much to my appeasement, the clerk at the front desk was nothing but helpful and furthermore the mechanic was informative, understanding, and totally honest about the work and the rates. Needless to say I was treated with total respect and was given excellent service. My car was returned in an orderly fashion and very timely. I will continue to use the services provided at this station and suggest that anyone in the Webster area give them a shot.
Car Service Made Easy I've been taking our cars to Gene at Schaefer Shell since I was just a kid. I went to school at the old CBC high school which isn't too far from their location. I'd actually leave it with them, Gene would take me to school, and someone would pick me up afterward. Never pushes something I don't need and explains in non-mechanic terms when I do need work. I don't normally write reviews, but stumbled upon the terrible review and wanted to let everyone know that I wouldn't trust my cars to anyone else.
I would get a couple guys that slogged through the motions like they didn't want to be there, $33.00 I expect to see a clear window without a streak, not the case. If there was a corner they just rounded it off leaving crap in the corner. Upon giving my car back I get more enthusiasm for that 10 seconds than they rest of the detailing process, I mean he really came alive for 5-10 seconds. The place is spotless and well organized, maybe next time they'll perk up, I know what it's like to be 18-23 at 8 a.m. after a Holiday.
I moved to St. Louis a decade ago and knew almost no one. My car was acting up and my new neighbors recomended Roys. I was amazed: quality service, genuine know how, and a quote giving an exact amount before working. They have never failed me and I recommend them to all my new neighbors as the place where quality and service aren't just slogans. Bravo!
These guys are so personable that you forget you are in an auto repair place! They don't nickel & dime me like every other shop I've tried in this area. Straight talk and no surprises when it is time to pay the bill. George is great! Also, it is one of the very few gas stations that still provide free air for your tires.
