I recently moved from out of state to the Gallery Apartments on Washington. I was looking for a studio/efficiency anywhere in the city of Saint Louis that was less than $700/mo. I toured a number of places, and the Gallery Apartments was 1) infinitely cleaner and more well-equipped than the competition and 2) the second-cheapest rent I found. Coming from my previous city, this part of Saint Louis first struck me as seedy. I thought that I'd be constantly looking over my shoulder. Let me tell you, I was wrong. The Gallery is filled with young professionals, graduate students, and some older adults. The street is a mix of town houses and suburb-style houses. The streets are always well-lit, and the off-street parking is gated and has a flood-light always on. Regardless, there are Jaguars and BMW's parked overnight every night without incident. The neighbors are extremely friendly. A few streets north gets a little rough, but a few blocks west are some of the nicest places in town and a few blocks east is the center of arts in the city. The location is great, though I'd recommend having a car. Biking is also a viable option, but walking will take a while to get to anywhere but the grocery store and some fast-food joints. My efficiency is huge compared to most. The bed is lofted, opening up the floor space. Washer and dryer in unit. Large kitchen appliances. Hardwood floors. Granite counters and bathroom tiles. Well-kept hallways. The entire premises is under video surveillance and you need pass-codes to get anywhere inside. The inner area between the two buildings has a nice grill and seating area. The employees are extremely responsive and helpful, and I've never had an issue with them. I honestly have no complaints so far. Highly recommended.

This is a seriously great apartment!!! Do not pass it by. I moved out because of job relocation; otherwise I would still be living there. Both the building and management are top notch. I lived there Jan 2011 to May 2012, having previously been in my own house for 6 years. Because of this I was picky. The Gallery has both the combination of amenities (the place a boutique feel) and security that I needed to make moving from out of state and living in St. Louis very comfortable. The management was both flexible and super responsive whenever I needed anything. But I think the deciding factor was knowing the owner of the building was on the property from time to time. To me, this ensured the property would be maintained. I really can’t say it enough; this is an A+ property. Don’t let it slip by. Go see for yourself. I hope you will be as happy there as I was.
Our apartment is pretty nice on the inside and the price was very good for the area. I haven't had any problems with the people in the office. The owner, Marie is not overly nice, but she is easy enough to get along with. The building I live in is very quiet most the time, but I can hear anytime the person above me walks across the floor, but this is because the building was built in 1904. Honestly, my biggest complaint about the apartment is that the blower for the air conditioning unit is in the living room and it is very loud. When it comes on, I have to crank up the volume on my TV just to hear it. I know that seems like not a big deal, but it gets very annoying when trying to watch TV in the evenings.
Kelly and his crew are AWESOME! We went from a home we were renting where the landlord was hard to deal with and the basement flooded to working with Kelly and the ladies at his office. He let us into a beautiful home and has been nothing but awesome to work with. Night and day difference from the last house and he is always willing to help. The ladies are the sweetest in his office and are so helpful! Best decision we have made! Klamen Real Estate is our #1 choice!
This renovation is awesome! it is also more affordable than anything else in the west end for what you get! There is a washer/dyer in every unit . Marble enrty foyer with lounge and free WI-FI. GATED PARKING, CAMERA SURVELLIANCE. I am a student so its nice to live somewhere that ius secure, quiet ,and affordable. Apparently these place used to be in bad shape but you could never tell. It really feels like an art gallery in this place.
This is the best place to live in St. Louis. The Sherwood Court Apartments don't look like a gem on the outside, but they are the best value for a remodeled and secure access apartment in Central West End. I loved working with Veal Realty. Easy parking. Easy laundry. Fresh paint and new appliances. I couldn't ask for more and wish I could take my place with me when I leave.
I have lived here for 2 years and was referred by my cousin who lives at a different property Mr. Pingel manages. I'm 51 years old and have rented from at least 15 other landlords in the City of St. Louis. I am please as punch. My cousin is very happy with his apartment also. The place isn't perfect, but he does a better job than any other landlord I have had.
I have lived in the complex that John Pingle manages for some time now. I find the property to well kept and maintenence is always on top of things. Mr Pingle is easy to talk to and approach. I have recommended several friends to move onto the properties and they are also enjoying it.
I have lived happily at Loop Lofts, managed by Front Door LLC, for three years. I have not had one problem or complaint for that entire time. The management staff here is always courteous and professional. I am retired and plan to remain here. I see no reason to look elsewhere!
I looked at dozens of rental apartments and homes in the fall of 2012 but the homes I saw from Investor's Alliance were all newly remodeled, updated and CLEAN. Our rental agent Adam was very professional and stayed true to his word throughout the entire process.
