I was looking or a dress but not really in the mood to find a dress i was asked several times if i need any help but i declined. When i was ready to leave a lady again asked me if i need any help and i told her that I was leaving that i didn't really see anything of interest . She asked me if anyone asked for help i told her yes but this lady was persistent in a positive way she pulled out dresses and found dresses i would have never looked at then pulled out different colors to the dresses. I found a dress that visit. It turned out to be amazing .. The service is wonderful ,the staff is not pushy and don't rush you. I did not feel like and assembly line where they throw dresses on you and ask you to pick, The experience was amazing .. My daughters entire wedding party including my granddaughters dress was purchased there. Check them out!

Brandy Bregg is one of the manager for this location. Even though she was not my consultant, Brandy would go above and beyond to do whatever it takes to get the job done. She knew exactly what I was looking for in a dress. She went and picked out few dresses for me. I knew the minute I saw the dress, I knew it was the ONE! This being said it was the third dress I tried on. Everyone is so nice and professional at this location. The consultants truely make feel special and beautiful no matter what size you might be. They reassure you will be a amazing beautiful bride on your wedding day. I would also like to add, they do not push or try to over sell their products on you. Some stores/bridal stores, will push and push you to buy anything else in the store. I personally get overwhelmed when this happens and usually end up leaving with buying a thing. Davids Bridal will definitely have what you are looking for. I was truely amazed at the fact Brandy knew ever aspects of the store, and even more David's as a company. This woman is going to far within this company! I highly recommend this location. I love my dress so much, and being able to look at every day in its display box, that David's offeres.
I just want to share my wonderful experience at David's Bridal. Regina and Cindy were absolutely fabulous. I was having trouble finding just the right dress and out of nowhere Cindy appeared, it was as if God sent me an angel. Cindy and Regina along with my daughter found the perfect dress. I came in for a veil to be made (already had my wedding dress). I brought in all of the materials for the veil that my wedding dress designer had provided. I also introduced her to a few friends needed dresses in the meantime. It took her over a month to make this veil (a very simple veil) and finally, when I called and said I needed to have it finished, she told me 'ok, I will work on it.' Work on it? It should be finished! It was a simple veil design that I needed with a couple beads stitched across the comb. Anyway, I came in today to pick it up and she still hasn't started on it. She looked surprised at me and asked if I could come back in an hour. I busied myself for an hour and came back to pick up the finished product. First, the few beads that were stitched across the comb were loosely attached and one was even falling off! I asked about the beads and she said 'that's normal. That's the way it's supposed to be.' I figured I was done dealing with this so just went to pay.... That's when I about hit the fan. $350!!!??? For a veil? A PLAIN veil?? Which I brought in all the materials (the fabric, the beads, etc)!!?? I asked her to clarify the amount. Yup. $350. I'm shocked. Especially since when I dropped the materials off for the veil to be made, I asked for the amount and was told by Helen 'oh... It won't be much. I don't know right now but it won't be much.' I figured maybe $100 max. I will never patronize this shop again. Total rip off.
Unprofessional Horrible and Rude
I have had many bad experience's at a different David's Bridal location and was really hoping this location would be different. Boy, was I wrong! My sister found a bridesmaid dress online that we both liked, so I got online to book an appointment. First of all, I think it is annoying that the store closes at 9pm but the latest appointment you can get is 7:30pm. Anyway... So I booked that one knowing we would be late (my sister - the bride - was working and couldn't be there until 8:15pm). So I walked in and was browsing around while waiting for my sister. I spotted the dress we found online (which looked so cheap and nothing like the pictures) and continued looking at other styles. THREE different consultants were withing 2 feet of me and did not say one word to me. After my sister and I browsed dresses for about 15 minutes, we found a consultant to ask if the dressing room doors were locked. Before taking us to the dressing rooms she asked if we had a consultant helping us. I explained that I set an appointment but was a little late because my sister was working. After that, she said they led us to a room. She did periodically check on us, but never offered to pull any more dresses or offer any real help. We were not inclined to purchase any of the dresses I tried on, so as we were leaving the same woman asked us how the dresses worked for us. We said that we had just started looking and were going to check out some other places. Her response: well next time if you are ON TIME for your appointment then a consultant will be available to help you and will assist you in pulling styles so that you can actually find a dress you like. EXCUSE ME?! There will not be a "next time"! AND, I saw at least three consultants who appeared to not be with a customer (there were only two customers besides us in the store and I saw 6 women working) so someone could have helped us. What about the person who was supposed to help me 30 minutes before I got there? There is some magical expiration on your appointment? It was set from 7:30-9 and we were there within that time frame, but somehow still not worthy of a consultant helping us?? Time and time again, David's Bridal proves to me why I will not give them my business!!!
I was terrified to go wedding dress shopping, I was afraid that I would look terrible or the people would be rude and would make it even worse. But I just had the best experience with my consultant Storey, she was amazing! I read bad reviews and was nervous about going there but it was awesome! I would recommend everyone go here but I really understand why it is best to make a appointment it's easier on you and the consultants. 5 stars for sure!!!
On 2/2/15 I dropped off a brand new Vinyard Vines red dress to Helen's Briddal aka Alterations by Helen located at 10404 Manchester Road in Kirkwood. I wanted the dress hemmed. I gave specific instructions NOT to cut the dress, but to roll the fabric and hem. The girl who waited on me wrote on the order ticket #20904 "Do Not Cut Fabric" she also wrote on the same ticket "Hem, do not cut fabric, just roll" There was a $50 charge which they had me pay in advance. I went today 2/10/15 to pick up dress and the owner handed the dress to me and it had been cut off!! I said you cut the dress and I gave specific instructions not to cut it. I also explained to her how specific I was and had her read the ticket. She agreed that they were not suppose to cut the dress, but she told me the person doing their alterations does not read English!!! I asked her to refund my $50 and to buy me a new dress. She refused both. She told me it would be fine the way it was and later I could just sew the cut off hem back on. I asked her several times to refund the $50, even handing her my credit card, she refused. This the worst customer service experience I have ever had, the owner was rude, yelled at me and told me to get out of her store. There were several other customers in the store. I have the receipt, the original order ticket with the instructions, and the cut up dress! Do NOT go there for alterations, they cannot read English, per the owner of the store. And I would NOT recommend buying a wedding dress or prom dress from any place that cuts up people's clothing!
First of all, don't waste your time showing up without an appointment. If they are busy, you won't be allowed to try on a dress...not even one. However - this is a great place to try on a dress in your size! Everywhere else I've been, I've had to hold a size 8 up in front and eyeball it. David's Bridal has lots of dresses of all sizes.

After receiving a very poor fit from a different dressmaker, we brought the dress to Helen on Thursday morning and the wedding is on Saturday! The fit is Perfection and ready for pickup on Friday! She is an answer to prayer!
