My experience was horrible here!!! i just got my new apartment and the past residents stuff was still going to my apartment. i went to the post office to inform them that he did not live there anymore and the lady who was there just kept nodding her head as if i knew what that was supposed to mean, so i asked her if that was all and she responded yeah you've been done like seriously who the hell says that?! worst customer service i have ever seen especially coming from someone who is knew to new residency and using the mailing system

By far the worst post office ever.They deliver your mail to someone elses address on a regular basis.They hold your mail, and when you finaly receive it there is a huge amount.The good mail persons are very few at this post office that at times delivers your mail at 6:30 pm.They need to put this post office under new management,or close it.
I scheduled a pickup for 10 packages less than 22 pounds total weight) from my front porch, the carrier picked up 2 of them and left the rest. I called and was told that it was a new guy. What kind of idiots are they hiring?
Be very CAREFUL of this post office. My husband dropped off a very important medical package here to be mailed over his lunch break and the young lady at the desk took it and said it was good to go. After my husband was leaving the post office, the same lady came running out after him asking what was in the package....now the package is nowhere to be found. It was never even scanned in when he handed it to her. The manager laughed at my husband when he went in to inquire. This is so terrible that "government" workers that handle such important material can conduct so immorally and unethically. We have now contacted the investigation department within that location and they even couldn't believe that the worker asked my husband what was in it as this is highly illegal considering all proper labeling was on this package.
Very poor service. The mail person leaves mail on the stairs in my apartment building instead of putting it all in the boxes. They mix my mail with my neighbors all the time,they slam the door every time they come in and go out, I have also received damaged packages from this post office. To top it all off, the hand full of times I have complained, or asked questions , politely, I have received so much animosity and attitude that it's disgusting! Service in the Saint Louis area has seriously gone down hill.
I visited the St Louis Post Office on Clinton Ave on Tuesday, 29 December around 3:30. I was waited on by a very rude, surly, antagonistic woman. I can say it is an example of the worst customer service I ever experienced. I served 30 years in the Air Force, been assigned to 14 different locations to include, Iraq, Germany, Korea and this is this Post Office wins the award for worst customer service ever. The postal clerk seemed to hate her job and customers. She was unhelpful, unpleasant, unprofessional, angry, hostile and rude. I am not sure how she keeps her job? I guess the USPS tolerates this as I read many of the reviews and the comments on Yelp and Google and there are lots of negative comments.I would rather deal with a robot or kiosk than an employee like the one I dealt with. Like McDonalds, maybe it’s time USPS replace employees with a kiosk, it is cheaper wages, no benefits and a machine will provide better service. This woman needs to be fired. At first I thought I may have been just me. As I observed her engage with 3 other customers it was the same horrific customer service. In fact one young lady was there to get a passport. She engaged with the same rude employee but unlike me she refused to take her verbal abuse and left telling the rude employee she would take care of this on line vs. dealing with her. The rude employee tried to make amends but the customer was fed up and left. Great job USPS, don’t be surprised when you are privatized because you have alienated the very people/customers that pay your wages. FedEx would go out of business if they treated customers like this.
The most horrible service ,everyone from the supervisors to the mailman are extremely rude. No one wants to help only disrespect and disregard you and your mail
I live in jeffersom Townhomes off of sherman and jefferson baracks. The postal service here is very poor indeed. Packages left on the wrong door step and letters placed in the wrong boxes. I have been wainting for an important letter for months, I fear that I will never recieve it. It is this time of the seasom that it is important we get our mail, in the right boxes, and at the right door steps.
TERRIBLE! WOULD RATHER PULL OUT MY FINGER NAILS ONE BY ONE INSTEAD OF DEALING WITH THESE MORONS.THEY ARE RUDE, THEY DON'T TELL THE TRUTH..THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS
