If you have any choice in your selection of a portrait studio DO NOT choose Wagner Portrait Group. My son had his school band picture taken with Wagner and the picture was horrendous. With the ability to immediately view photos the photographer should have repositioned the students so they were not looking into the sun; my son was almost crossed eyed trying to keep his eyes opened. The only picture that was worth keeping was the group picture. When I returned the package of pictures ($59) they would not refund the entire package cost as I had kept the group photo. Considering they could not reschedule the photo shoot and I had to hand-deliver the pictures back to them I feel this was extremely poor customer service.

I love the way i looked and felt after my makeover. The photos were beautiful. I never look so good!
Shana photographed both of my daughters for their Senior portraits. An amazing photographer, so creative!
Still haven't received pictures I took over months ago. Very unprofessional and I am very disappointed that my school would even consider working with people like this.
Just received my daughter's school pictures what I received was not at all what I ordered I wanted her to have a pink background it's blue and I didn't even receive what I purchased if I could give 0 stars I would will be contacting wagner and on top of me keeping this package because I have waited over a month for her pictures they will be sending me the package I originally ordered to my home
I booked with this lady for my wedding in January and received my images and videos in December; Almost a year later! We had a signed contract that said she would record 5 hours of videography and 1 hour of photography. We paid her $ 815.55 for everything and she tried to charge us $300 more just to keep the images we already paid for. She never finished the video and she wouldn't post all the images she took online for us to look at. For good reason, they were terrible! The family group shots were the worst of the all, and that was the main reason I hired her. The people in the back of every picture had black shadows on their faces. And most of the other pictures were blurry and unclear. As I did more research, I found out that this lady has had a history of changing her business names after customers have been scammed for money. The pictures from her website belonged to other, actual, professional, photographers that she stole from other websites. By the end of it all, we received 63 unedited pictures and quite a few CDs with raw video clips that on average were only 5 to 7 seconds long. The only reason I was able to get all of this after almost a year, was because we mentioned a law suit after the deadline of December 1st. If we had not pushed for our wedding images and videos, we would have been left with no memories for our later generations. She asked all our family and friends to not take any pictures or video while she was around. So none of our families or friends were able to take other pictures or video of the most important day of my life.
Before you sign up for a sitting, be sure you pay attention to their prices. Do not assume that they are more or less in line with other comparable photographers. They are in the stratosphere! You will end up paying nearly $1000 for a handful of prints and no high quality electronic images. She will only make these available as a slide show (not reproducible at high quality) for $250. She also does not make available basic things that you would expect from any professional photographer, like a black portrait background or any size print between 5 X 7 and wallets (no 3 X 5s; no 4 X 6s). The pictures were fine, but she is by no means better than other, more reasonably priced photographers.
Would not re-schedule my appointment and honor my Groupon even though I had an emergency for which airlines would be willing to re-schedule. BAD business and POOR customer service!
Sarah photographed my wedding in 2011 and did a spectacular job. She’s a very talented photographer and all of our wedding shots were amazing. She was extremely reliable and personable, got us copies of our pictures within a few weeks, and devoted a lot of time to help us construct our wedding album. I highly recommend her.
We felt incredibly fortunate to have used Sarah Carmody as our wedding photographer. Her photography was consistently exceptional and she captured both the intimate and larger moments that made our wedding special to us and our family and friends. In addition, Sarah was extremely pleasant to work with, before, during and after the wedding. We felt that we got great value and we love our wedding album!
Sarah shot our wedding on March 9, 2012, and she was terrific! She really listened to us and was able to provide us what we wanted when we knew what we wanted, and she gave us lots of suggestions for things like shooting locations when we were stumped. We wanted a mix of some very traditional family portraits as well as some artsier shots of the event, and Sarah worked for a portrait photography studio for a long time and is a master of the studio head and shoulders shot, the sort of thing you might see in a corporate publication, but she is also a fine arts photographer, and she knows how to really push the medium with interesting angles, depth of field techniques, unusual lighting (one sequence for us included candles), filters, and post processing special effects, so I really felt like we had the best of both worlds with her. Before our ceremony, during the shooting of the traditional portraits and group shots, she was assertive and organized and was able to get our large, rowdy group to take their places in one combination after another, but she never came across as bossy or abrasive, the way some photographers do under these circumstances. It's a tough balance! She was right there for every key moment in our event but never distracted away from what was happening. I would book her again for sure.
