Crown has it all. New Parts, Classic Parts, a machine shop, performance parts and most important knowledge that you can't get from a discount store. 72 years in business shows its worth in the St. Louis area.
Jesse and Dan are real nice guys to deal with. No "attitude" like you might get from other yards. Prices are very reasonable, and much cheaper than Pick N Ur Pocket located down the road from them. If you are tired of getting nickel and dimed to death by Pick N Pull, then come down Hall Street a little farther to Riverside. I've been going to this yard for over 25 years and will continue to buy from them. Really super folks to deal with and you don't have to pay anything to get in.
Please do not buy any Products from any of the Buick dealerships I bought a 2014 Buick Verono and it’s a Lemon and these companies will not honor their manufacturer warranty. They will get out of doing anything for their customers. If you are Black or a female they will take advantage of you if you do not know all in the name of money. I’m am very livid about my new car because it’s brand new and I’m already having major issues with it. I keep up on the maintenance of my car so why am I having issues with it this early. I have been bring my car to Dave Sinclair Buick dealerships and they have done nothing more than Ripp me off I told them several times I have warranty on my car and they failed to hear anything I was telling them because I’m African American and a female. I took my car to their shop for oil change soon after my car started acting up and so I had to take my car back into the shop so they gave me a battery they anit worth crap and it’s not even a year old. But to make a little big story short after they installed my battery I still had issues after that my car shut off on me while driving it and I almost got killed. So I had to get my car send back to the shop but they couldn’t send it back to Dave Sinclair who messed my car up because they were going to charge me for mileage because they claim it was too far so I had my car towed to Lou Fuz and they claim some rodent had eaten through my wires but that wasn’t told to me by Dave Sinclair who serviced my car for a battery issue so they claim since it was a rodent issue they were not going to honor my manufacturer warranty so at this point I’m very livid with the company altogether. So I get my car back and months later I’m still having terrible issues with my Buick Verono the shifter which should be a recall issue had broken off and this is supposed to be a brand new car so why is my shifter breaking off so now I cannot put my car in any gear whether it be park, reverse neutral or drive and so I had my car towed to gateway Buick because I’m thinking it will be covered as a recall issue because it’s a safety issue but no to make matters worse is that before my car was towed to gateway my battery was working fine in my car which I just got under warranty in May 2017. So I take in for a shifter issue and now they claim a brand new battery is bad I’m confused and I was told that my battery should be covered under parts warranty by Dave Sinclair Buick dealerships but no they are trying to charge me for a whole new battery and a shifter which when I got their first quote they said it was going to cost me 618.00 and now they have changed it to only 418.00 dollars looks to me like someone is being taken advantage of all the way around. This company cares nothing about its Black customers only to shake their pockets and screw over you and if you are a female you can just forget it they are going to ripp you off. I filed a complaint with GMC and they are doing nothing to help me my car has been sitting at gateway Buick for two weeks now and I’m livid because no one can come up with how to deal with my situation. I feel like they screwed up my car and I want this company to give me my 32 thousand dollars back off of this car I’m angry and I’m pregnant and I’m dealing with horrific stress right now something no pregnant woman should be dealing with. I feel that if I was a white American this issue would never have gone on this long. I’m so angry with this company I don’t know what to do. I have tire warranty and they charge me for all of my tires and refused to reimburse me for any of them. Please do not buy products for this company they will not honor your warranty or you you will receive terrible customer service.
Although staff changes regularly, most are knowledgeable and friendly. If you call, they will hold an item for you until you can pick it up.
I was recommended to this shop by a friend. They replaced my tire in 15 minutes. They also stayed on the phone and helped me for 10 minutes before to figure out tire size. I'm not knowledgeable about cars but Rick was incredibly helpful and patient. The service was cheap and straightforward, and I was treated with respect at the business. First car fix experience I have been truly pleased with. Will continue to do all of my business here!
My name is Kellen. Ive been a long time customer at Andy Wurm Tire. Today I was very displeased at the service I received from 2 staff members there. 1 of which (Joe) claims he is the owner. The other person I don't who it was. Here is the story:I bought a tire from Andy Wurm Tire for $120They mount and balance the tire on the rim.Turns out the tire is defective from the manufacture.I take the rim and tire back to Andy Wurm to let them fix the situation.They say they "the tire is defective" and they will replace the tire. However they are going charge me $25 to put the new tire on the rim.Should I have to pay?I feel no since they are the ones who sold me the defective tire to begin with. i did NOTHING wrong other than coming to Andy Wurm to get a tire apparently. There are plenty of other places I could have went to but I like to help the "mom and pop" local shopThe gentleman on the phone I talked to was extremely rude, he kept cutting me off and talking over me. When i drove down to get my tire and rim and i spoke with Joe he was rude and walked away from me as i was telling him how i felt.I live in St Charles about 20 minutes away. I could easily take my business to Walmart but i have been a customer of Andy Wurm for over 10 years. I purposely drive that far because the shop did excellent work. From here on I will be taking my business elsewhere (which Joe seemed not to have a problem with). Ps. I took the wheel and tire to Walmart they put the tire on the rim and put it on the car for $19
I spoke with Greg (General Manager) to reach a resolution, but to no avail. At the beginning of our conversation, he stated that he needed to “get the facts” and call me back, which insinuated that I was dishonest and that the customer isn’t right. He admits that he “missed the mark” on not finding the issue the first time, however he felt that not charging additional diagnostic fees (be careful, diagnostic fee is from $70-$140, but increases the longer it takes to identify your issue- which was not mentioned at time of service) and towing the car (someone used their personal roadside assistance) sufficed. Experiencing the same issue with my car not starting after taking it to this certified dealership, those terms wasn’t acceptable. Not a different issue mind you, the SAME issue. His voice elevated on a few occasions and made it seem he was doing me a favor. The solution to deduct the diagnostic fee from the new bill was not an option for Greg. I informed the Service Dept. that my car started intermittently when I FIRST brought my car there. It is still intermittent after service. I have 3 children, one of whom with special needs, who also depends on my car; you can imagine how upset I was about how this was handled. It feels like the issue was left untreated intentionally to have me return and shell out more money. Had I not posted a review, I’m 1000% sure my bill would’ve included another diagnostic, towing, parts and labor. Pam (Customer Serv. Mgr.) asked that I remove my review as soon as possible, as it is a poor reflection of Sue’s (Service rep.) service. Sue has been very professional and courteous. My car not starting again has nothing to do with her. I felt that that was some sort of guilt-trip tactic to remove my original Google review.
Always knowledgeable and professional. They do a lot of commercial business, so when in store it takes a little bit more time to get things done because they are frequently on the phones. But, they are always very helpful and accommodating.
Outstanding craftsmanship and service. My agent got me in touch with martin and I was extremely satisfied.
My friends and family have used this company before and have never been dissatisfied. Company that treats their customers like family.
