I have given up on County Cab as of tonight: they have been screwed me for the last time! They have left me hanging for over an hour, despite having made a reservation 24 in advance! Nothing! Not a word, despite call after call after call!
They recently "Upgraded" their systems" - after this upgrade CC went to the garbage heap! EVERYBODY is now named "DeAngela", and NOBODY seems to be able to fix it, despite assurances on multiple occasions they had done just that! In the last few months, I suspect there has been a change in management, as they have gone from extremely reliable, friendly, and bend-over-backwards to accommodate any need, to not giving a crap what happens to any of their passengers (no matter how well they know you [I'm disabled, and used to spend a fortune with this nightmare!]
I have been left hanging now 6 times in the last 5 weeks, and I have also been cursed at by the operators (they forward their phones to both India and Central America after 9:00pm, meaning you get people from another country who you can't understand, and who can't understand you - and who don't give a crap about you either!)., told what I can do with my female family members, and other unfriendly things.
The drivers are great, IF you can get one out of the crappy dispatch systems they have now.

I flew from Alaska for a job interview at 8am in Chesterfield.
Called night before to reserve a pickup at the econolodge in Kirkwood @7am.
I called for a status update at 6:53 am and was told I was 3rd in order on pickup list. And that they were running a bit behind and said a cab would be there really soon.
I waited for over an hour and missed my interview. There was also a cab operated by same company that arrived but refused service to me even though it was a large van because they were there for someone else for school and said I couldn't ride share.
Still no cab.
I called at 8:07am to cancel.
I am furious as I own a transportation company and I hope this review finds useful. My advice is not to schedule and depend on a taxi from this operator.

Over the last few months this outfit has become UNUSABLE. I am a large enough customer that the drivers are all on a first name basis, and the "Manager" ["Shari"] as well as one of the"Owners" [forgot his name] recognized my account (spent between $300 and $500 per month for several years now, as I am disabled).
They have left me waiting, at off-peak hours (midnight) for over an hour, with no calls that they are still looking, nothing. When I've called in, they are RUDE, FLIPPANT, and DON'T CARE!
I am GONE! From now on, it's Uber: I don't care about the extra charges, I have to know that I am not going to be left on the road for HOURS at a time! These people used to be decent, now it's like a demented teenager is running the place.
This is the cheapest taxi service in St. Louis & I have my good & bad days with them. First & foremost, a lot of the drivers are mainly foreigners who can be very disrespectful and may not even know where their going. One of the drivers didn't have a gps system and had a book of maps & asked me did I know how to get where I am going - I didn't. Why would I depend on someone to take me somewhere who has no freaking idea where they are going & then rudely talks to me. Exactly why I don't tip anymore drivers. I've only encountered 2 annoying drivers since using this service. Let alone the customer service representatives, they are okay. I know that they try their best & they are flooded with calls, but who are not dispatching these calls correctly are the problem.
Excellent Customer Focused Service:
County cab to me demonstrated the best customer experience I could have. I have taken service of County/Yellow cabs is St. Louis multiple times when I was in St. Louis on work. The service has been very prompt and professional. They have always accommodated my request on short notice courteously during rush hours and have provided me updates on status. For the quality of the cabs they provide, the rates are very reasonable. I appreciate the customer focused service they provided me. I forgot my phone in cab before I was to catch a flight to return to Denver. The cab driver handed over the phone to the Cab company, when not obligated. The Cab company President called my alternate number, mentioned on my phone display, to update me about it. He was very polite and offered to ship the phone to home without any expense from my side. He shipped though certified mail providing me the tracking number for my convenience. I realized, there was nothing to worry about, by the way things were handled. I would recommend their service, which I found very professional & competitive.
Called 5 minutes prior to arrival at train station and was told to call back in case a cab was already there. How do you not know where your cabs are? After calling back, I was told a cab would arrive in 15 minutes. An hour later, the number was no longer available. Trying a different number from Google search, I was told I should know better on a Saturday night. Finally, after waiting 1.5 hours outside with my children, I got somebody.
We tried to be responsible and take a cab to and then from a party but.. we literally waited 2 hours and the cab NEVER came. We felt completely stranded and helpless. How are we supposed to act like responsible people when we can't even get home after several hours?? This is dangerous and irresponsible of the cab companies and law enforcement. Aweful.
