It was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Hello Natural Ladies.
Just want to share with you
DON'T DO IT!!! NASTY ESTABLISHMENT AND ATTITUDES, SLOW, CAN'T FOLLOW A PIC, GRAFFITI ON WALLS, KIDS, DISTORTED TV, NO COMMUNICATION WITH THE CLIENTS, S@#! ON THE FLOOR AND "NO TOILET PAPER IN BATHROOM." Just a heads up Queens. If you like to hear a lot of bashing of African Americans then this is the place for you.
It was great! MiMi was fast at braiding, very friendly and listen to what I wanted. She made me feel welcomed and comfortable. She even helped me make up my mind as to what style I should get. I wanted a style to last for months so she suggested the Senglese twist. Her price is very reasonable with no hidden extra fees. She also asked me if it was okay for a second person to help her finish my hair. I liked that she asked me first instead of just putting someone on my hair. Judith was the person who helped MiMi and Judith was a sweet heart as well. I highly recommend anyone to this shop. The only thing I wasn't a fan off was that MiMi had her 18month older with her at the shop. She is a doll and was minding her self but of course after so long babies can become inpatient when they are sleepy or hungry so that's where the baby started crying and was extremely fussy. MiMi still held her professionalism and worked on my head. Unfortunately at a point she had to take a small break to tend to the baby. Other than that if you want your hair done at an affordable price while also looking nice, don't hesitate to go to MiMi's African Braiding Salon 😉
I will do another review at a later time to let you all know how long my braids lasted.
This was a first time getting braids outside my normal stylist, well I'm very happy I choose Mimi's! She was very gentle with me and very knowledgeable about my service. I will return as my go to braiding salon! Little Grace was a plus! Thanks Mimi!
Fast hair braiding, professional braid appearance, great hours and location. Mimi is great! Very thorough
