Out of the Diner Category, You Rascals!

I can only give it a 3 and it's because of 2 reasons.
1. It's not a diner, silly people. Go to any city on the east coast (yes, I'm a St. Louisan) and you'll see that a diner is a restaurant that has a huge menu, serves breakfast all day and night
(no, a doughnut is not breakfast if your car doesn't sport a siren) has actual tables where you are waited on and you leave full, as if you have actually had a meal.

2. Krispy Kreme (aside from the poor spelling in the name) is a decent doughnut, but also a very overrated one. Try some of the independent places around here and you may begin to think of KK as the McDonald's of doughnuts. I must commend them on their advertising. It's the greatest hyped institution in history.

Love the Kreme

I'm from the Joplin, MO area (about 350 miles from STL), and we make it a point to go to Krispy Kreme everytime we go to St. Louis. We finally have one closer, though. So we now have one less reason to go to St. Louis. Springfiled, MO just opened a Krispy Kreme!!!!!!!!!!
