Provided by CitysearchI usually love Dantes and frequent it often, great dancing, reasonable drinks, and light on the attitude. I can be found there almost every weekend!
Halloween however was a whole other story, I will stay away from any speial event in the future and stick to regular nights of dancing there. Doors were to open at 10, but we had to wait in line an additional hour to get inside, someone did not show up on time to put up decorations!! After a $20 dollar cover we entered to what was exclusiveky Mexican Music, usually there is more of a mix. The drink prices were higher than usual, I guess to cover tips, and a costume contest that took what felt like hours (round one) got underway. Then, finally teh live entertainment started. The second teh lovely young lady started to sing, I started to laugh, along with everyone else in the crowd, holy crap, she must be sleeping with someone to have gotten that gig. It was frightening, I guess that is somehow appropriate for a Halloween Party, but it was in no way tolerable. I guess even the regular DJ (props to him) eventually got tired of listening to her and started playing music! A huge rush for the dancefloor, people were finally starting to have a good time, and then ... BACK to the flipping costume contest that lasted the entire rest of the evening! The whole mess was put on by some lame local radio station ... So in short $20 for 30 minutes of dancing, and a whole lot of standing around doing nothing .... THUMBS DOWN

Provided by CitysearchI went there on a Friday night, for their Latin night. Ladies get in free before 10pm. I didn't get there until 11:30pm, but the cover was reseanoble, $6. I loved it! Great music, roomy, and friendly. I danced for two hours straight!! Nevertheless, it was well ventilated, and because the ceilings were high, the heat generated from the large crowd was not an issue. Super fun! I would have liked a nicer bathroom for the girls.
Dantes is a relatively nice club..though I only go on Thurdays when they are playing hip hop music it is nice on the inside...definately recommend
Me and my friends are looking for a place to dance and were wondering the age limit cuz we are all either 19 or 20
