Seriously the best pizza I have ever eaten anywhere. This place is awesome. Growing up I went there for dates in high school and now these many years later I go each time I come home for a visit. The toasted ravioli and pastas are great also but there is just something about that pizza!

Absolutely love this place as has anyone I've ever taken there from out of town! Holds great memories from childhood, too, when we would stop there after Cardinal baseball games. Sure, it's always busy BUT if it wasn't wouldn't you wonder if it was any good?!?!?

I LOVE this place. I go every year for my birthday :) The Fettecini is divine and the pizza is excelent. Everyone has bad nights, but what the people don't tell you in the bad reviews is they are ALWAYS busy... so OF COURSE u might have to wait 1/2 hour for your food! hahaha these people amaze me because I have waited an HOUR at this place before, but in all fairness, the staff is hospitable and you can clearly see them working hard to take care of everyone. Maybe I am just partial to this place, or maybe I'm speaking as A) an Italian that knows good food and B) someone who has worked in the restaurant biz a few years :) This place has been open too long and has food too delicious to get a bad review from me :)

Just moved down the street and was told how awesome this place is.
Great food and quaint atmosphere but both times I have gone there my card was over charged by at least $10. When confronted they said someone must of hit the wrong key. Once maybe, twice doubt it, a third time I wont be back!!

We live just down the street and have eaten here before. We went last night to enjoy a family night out at what we thought was a great restaurant. The service was horrible, twice we had to search down our waitress. After ordering it was a half hour when we finally received our two pizzas. They were both cold and you could literally see the cheese slices laying on top of the pizza. I have never had such horrible pizza. You would of thought a 5 year old made it. We paid for our drinks and left. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I get to town about 6 times a year from South Florida, and a visit to Cusanelli's is a must the first night.
The salads, seafood canneloni, overall menue, drinks, service is top drawer for any restaurant, especiall in this price category. Aside from the sometimes boisterous dining room, you'd think you were in a much more expensive venue.
Just wish we had Cusanelli's in Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, Delray Beach or Boca Raton - They wouldn't be able to get a place large enough!!!!!
We also go to the premier venues in Clayton, Central West End, etc. 2 - 3 times the price and a little snooty, but not much better. This is just too comfortable and good to pass up. If I lived in St. Louis I could see myself at Cusanelli's several times a week.
You can contact me at 561-441-2844 if you don't think this is real.

My parents grew up in South County and grew up on Cusanellie's. They moved away after their 2nd child. But in a family of 6 children, NOTHING compares to this pizza. I live in Chicago now and will still drive down to St. Louis with a huge cooler, packed with dry ice to transport back anywhere from 50 to 100 pizzas for the family. The crust is thin and crispy the way it should be. The sauce is like no other. And don't eve get me started on the Provel cheese. Pepperoni is my favorite, but the sausage tastes better than any other sausage I've ever had. The ambiance is perfect for its history and should never be changed. NOTHING should be changed! Man I miss it so much right now!!!

We have been regulars at Cusanelli's as long as I can remember. A couple of places in town have better St. Louis style pizza (try Lou Boccardi's on the Hill), but the Cusanelli Special salad is a must try - my sister must have it every time she's in town. Also a couple of surprises - the Country Fried Chicken - breaded breast with white gravy - is PERFECT. Nobody does it better. I still believe also, they serve up the best margaritas in town and I'm a mexican food junkie!! Comfortable, family atmosphere, hard-working servers, many with 20+ years of service.

I hate to tell anyone this and take the chance for the restaurant to get over-crowded, but I can't help myself....the best fried shrmip ever.....not all covered with crust..lightly lightly fried and the best homeade tarter sauce. I wont eat fried shrimp anywhere else. The menu is normal size, but everytime I go, I can t decide, between steak, pizze or shrimp. So i get a Pizze to go, and get a steak and shrimp combo.
Great and reasonable prices too.

My grandpa went there for over 50 years and so did my dad and now i go there. Best pizza in the world. I have tried other pizza's and its just not the same especially since they make their own sausage. Luigi the cook in the back makes the best pizza when hes not there its not the same. We have been their so many times that they know my family really well. Looks can be decieving although its not like applebees its good grub
