YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Bad Experience - Stick w the b...

Bad Experience - Stick w the better know ones (Morton's, Ruth's Chris, Stoney River, etc.) Food - 2.5 stars (factoring in price, should be a whole lot better) Server - 4.0 stars Manager - 1.0 stars Received a groupon.com offer for this steakhouse which has had some notable reviews including a Best In St. Louis for Steakhouse rating from Riverfront Times. Dug a little deeper within reviews and saw mixed feedback, some good some bad. Thought it would be a perfect time to try for ourselves w this offer from groupon, BAD IDEA. Atmosphere was okay, service was decent, and food was merely mediocre considering the lofty prices. Once we unveiled the groupon voucher everything went downhill from the average experience to a horrible one. We were treated terribly like they resented the use of the groupon offer. Sorry Prime 1000 you are the ones who put this offer out there not us. Voucher was good for up to $215 ticket and we only used $170. Server, after some time with the voucher, came back to our table and said the voucher only covered "Up to $18 glass of wine" and that we had ordered $18 glasses of wine and would have to pay in full for the wine. He suggested that up to $18 was not inclusive of $18. When I explained that my impression would be that up to $18 would include $18 and we were way under in all other areas of the bill (i.e. voucher covered up to $30 appetizers and we only got $10 apps) and that a .01 difference seemed petty he offered to let us speak to his manager, another Big Mistake. When the manager arrived she said it was impossible in their computer system to allow the glasses of wine to be included with the voucher. She was very short fused with little patience with an argumentative disposition, clearly the wrong temperment for this position. She finally, and begrudgingly, agreed to accept the wine within the voucher "as long as you take care of my server properly" she said with a snide attitude. I let her know that insult sealed a bad ending to an otherwise decent experience at their establishment. I mean to suggest we would not properly tip the waiter was truly insulting. I gave her cash to cover the taxes and get change for the tip. When she returned she had incorporated a service charge of 20% that was not on our bill to begin with as if she didn't trust us. I politely told her that she insulted us one last time forcing a tip that we would have done anyways. I also mentioned that there are plenty of top notch steak house options and that we would continue to go other places such as Morton's, Ruth's Chris, Annie Gunn's, Stoney River to name a few. Each of these offer a much better atmosphere, better food and better service. I assume Prime 1000 goal with the Groupon was to have alot of people sample what they had to offer in an effort to gain regular customers. I am sorry to say that in our experience and what I have heard has happened with others it proved exactly the opposite. After this experience I WILL NEVER GO BACK no matter what the offer, full price or otherwise. As stated before, stick with Morton's, Ruth's Chris, Stoney River, Annie Gunns. THEY GET IT. I will gladly pay full price at these places and know my experience will be top notch each and every time.

Outstanding!

The only way to describe the food and service is simply "Outstanding". I had the pleasure of dining at The Drunken Fish at Westport this past weekend and I will become a regular. The night started off with a very pleasant greeting at the hostess stand and again by our waiter once we were seated. The bar was full along with the restaurant throughout our dininig experience. This must say something because as soon as a table was ready to be seated it was with many people still waiting to be seated. Our waiter had a great personality and was able to describe the menu in a way that made want to try something new. His energy level was high as well as his selling abilities. The food ranged from Appetizers to Sashimi and Nigiri Sushi and from Regular to Signature Makimono Rolls, Stir Fry to Fried Rice. The menu had many great items to choose from. After the many suggestions our waiter offered we decided on the Soft Shell Crab Apprtizer which was Soft-Shell Crab lightly battered with a Katsu sauce. Our waiter suggested a variety of wines and we went with the Greg Norman Pinot Noir which complimented the crab very nicely. We then decided to try The Drunken Fish Roll, The White Tiger Roll, and The Starburst Roll. All were outstanding in presentation and in taste which makes you want to go back and try them all. It is not only hard to find good food these day's but it is harder to find a server as dedicated to his craft as our server was Saturday night. I will not only be back but I will certainly tell my friends and family of my experience at The Drunken Fish Westport.

I was just there today.. It was GREAT!! it is not small at all there is an upstairs that has three dinning area plus a very nice bar. Then there is the down stairs that has a bar, but the best part of the restaurant was the outside where I ate at. there are two parts to the beer garden, I sat in the covered garden that also has a bar. and there was an upper garden that is uncover that hold about 50 people i would say.. so Mr. Soulardman I don't know where you ate at but my food was great and I thought the place was very nice. I had the garlic chicken that comes with a salad for 9.99 plus has a good glass of wine for under $17.00. the wait staff did there job. I had a very nice waitress her name was Sue.

Sub par food, sub par service! It seems that Prime 1000 relies on out of town diners from hotels within walking distance. I can't see locals returning after their first experience. The service is very slow and in my case they didn't get the order right. The quality of the food was probably above that of some hotels but far below other restaurants in the area (especially for the price) They have a lot to learn about seating guests in the dining room. We arrived before 6:00 PM. The dining room was empty and the only seating options they offered were 6 tops. Not exactly great for conversation. We chose to eat at a high top in the bar area. Still not a good choice.

Stumbled upon this place for lunch today. I only ordered soup and salad, but WOW it was great. It definitely is a hole-in-the wall kind of place with a limited menu, but the waitress was superfriendly and the food was excellent. I had a caesar salad and a chicken and rice type of soup. The soup was homemade and INCREDIBLE. I could taste some type of green in it (spinach or mustard) and it was seasoned perfectly. The dressing on the salad also tasted homemade and the anchovies came through nice and clearly which I love. I had a soft drink and made it out of there under $10 after leaving a $2 tip.

Stls best patio and beergarden

Obviously I am a Mizzou fan. So when they play Bar101 Soulard is where I go plenty of big screens and profectors keep the action going. I love the customers and workers, they are real and down to earth. The food is great, I like the froglegs. The patio has a stage and outdoor bar, it's a nice dinner spot before we take the free shuttle to the cards game. We joined a sand volleyball league and they let me bring my puppy, yes they are dog friendly. If there is one downfall, it is when we are dancing outside it is quite a walk to the restrooms inside. This place is huge!

Absolute best in Soulard. Love this place. The food is always, I mean ALWAYS exceptional. Tuna Tacos, my husband's addicted. I love them too but want to try other dishes because I know it's all so good. Monte Cristo, OMG. Melt in your mouth. How did he get ham to be so tender? And the sauces, magnificent. Meatloaf, great. They even offer Creamed Corn as a side. This is NOT your mother's creamed corn. It's amazing. I always have to laugh as we pass the line outside Bogart's around the corner---those people just have no idea what they are missing only a block away!

My Favorite Karaoke Bar!

I've gone to Harry's for the last 3 years on my birthday for karaoke, and I try to go as often as possible. They hold free karaoke on Thursday through Saturday night. The crowd is so inviting and forgiving, and MK the DJ is lots of fun. It's a fantastic environment for people who are skilled singers or absolute novices. It's lots of fun to dance too! I love their kids meal burgers too. $4 for a huge burger and steak fries! The waitstaff is friendly and fun, and most of them sing, too! Great times.

Good little lunch spot

It was a good place to grab a quick bite with a friend over lunch while visiting from out of town. Quick service and friendly bar tender & waitress. From what I hear, the night time scene is pretty good. I almost wish I could stick around to check it out. It certainly seems like one of those places where everyone gathers when they're home for Thanksgiving (which I'm told is true). Like the St. Louis version of St. Elmo's Fire, except without the neon lighting and Demi Moore.
