Apparently this garage has a reputation for being unsafe, which I only discovered after a window was smashed on my car and several items stolen.
Read reviews about other SP Plus parking lots having "accounting" problems but parked at 901 Lucas anyway. Well, big mistake. Evidently, 3 minutes after I parked the dude sitting on the ground in the lot took pictures of my car and issued a notice of non-payment. SP+ wanted $62.00 or $42.00 if I paid early. Disputed the claim and finally got it cleared up . So don't pay cash and keep your receipt. Beware.
this place advertises parking for the museum - my wife and kids were left stranded outside with no car because they close early at 530 - the museum closes at 5 - they didn't get there in time and there is no way to get the car out - this place is sham
Well, today I received a call from someone who needed a loan for a car. When I got home, I wrote the check and decided to look the business up in the Yellow Pages. After reading the reviews, I will not be assisting my friend with as much as I'd like. I fear that the vehicle they receive will not be up to par. I noticed that the owner answered a review but the date of her review was 2 years after the date of the complaint. 2 positive rating was provided by the owner and an employee. That is not bias. 1 positive review was from a customer. All other reviews were negative. I am going to review the BBB before I warn my friend. But from what I have read, I do not think I will change my mind. Too bad. I too try to frequent small businesses.
