Artful Eye

I love this store, just what St Johnsbury needed. The owners are really friendly and the merchandise really showcases the talent in Vermont. They had a great variety of art in so many different mediums. The prices are very affordable for anyone who wants a nice gift or something for themselves. Check it out you will be pleasantly surprised!!!

I strolled in off Main (Railroad) Street... was greeted by the woman behind the counter in a friendly manner. The artwork here is fabulous and varied. Reasonably priced by design, affordable for anyone who appreciates art and hand-crafted items. Very inspirational work. I spent over an hour in this gallery and chatted with the owner, who took the time to share the story of the store, some history of the town and a lot about the artists whose work is on display. Definitely a place worth returning to and supporting the artists.

As a traveler I always seek out great places to view artwork and was pleasantly surprised to walk into such a wonderful friendly place. The Artful Eye had so many cool stuff to buy for my home. I was also very drawn to one artist in particular Rod Wells who's paintings are breathtaking. His paintings captures Vermont in such a charismatic way. There are also a lot of really interesting antiques you wont find any where else. There are plenty of restaurants around so you can eat afterwards and take a nice stroll down Railroad St. I'm happy I made the trip and look forward to another visit.
