Overall

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a car repair facility. I just bought a car and drove it about 100 miles without any issue for them to go over it. My biggest mistake was probably telling them I just boutht the car and wanted them to go over it, but I trusted they would be able to inspect the car and fix any issues that came up. I knew it needed new brakes, but everything else seemed to be ok other than maybe a tire rotation rotation and balancing. After sitting in the lobby for 3 hours I was told the power steering was leaking. I asked to see the leak and they showed me a hose with fluid on it. I asked how bad the leak was and they said I would not be able to drive the car home, but that they could get the part the next day. I wanted to be safe so I left the car there and had my wife pick me up. The next day came and they said they could not get the part for a few days and that it would cost 600.00 to repair. This was not acceptable as I need the car. I decided to take to another place. When I picked up the care the following service was completed on it:

Oil change

Alignment-Tire rotation

Brake pads all around and rotors in the rear

The total cost was $750.00 and when I asked why it was so high they said it was labor and parts.

So now I am driving the car to a dealership and on the way I find the left window is now not working, the car is overheating, the car says I need an oil change, and the steering wheel is not centered when the car is going straight. On a positive note the brakes are working fine.

Long story short the dealer informed me the power steering is fine, but it looks like fluid was put on the hose, the radiator cap was not tightened so all my fluid sprayed out on my belts which now need changed and the door switch needed replacing (may not have been their fault, but it was working prior). They also aligned my wheels incorrectly so my steering wheel is off center until my next alignment. In addition one of my pullies looks like it was hit by a hammer as it has a dent on it and wobbles, but still functioning.

In my opinion Julington Tire & Auto Center tried to upsell me on things that were not wrong with my car and in the end caused damage to my car when I would not allow them to steal from me. They are liars and cheats and should be sued fro this type of practice! If this is not the case then they are extremely incompetent and this is just as bad. Stay away at all costs!!!!!!

Honest Local Mechanic

Always get great service at fair prices. I recently had an issue after having work done and they made it right at their cost.
So glad to have them in the neighborhood!
