This school is the best high school I could ever have chosen to attend. It's a brand new school, and I am part of the first class. We get to participate in college prep classes and in a work study program where we work at corporate companies like, banks, law firms, hospitals and so on. Of course any CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL will be strict, but not overly strict. You get into trouble when you are doing something WRONG. We do have a growing sports program, featuring everything except football, but we are starting a flag football team next year. The school is constantly being renovated and improved. New lockers, new desks, new floors, etc. The teachers' lounge was also recently renovated to include TVs and a pool table, BUT the only reason that it was renovated was because the school won a Gallery Furniture competition that gave the school furniture for the TEACHERS LOUNGE. And personally, as a current student, I don't mind this at all. I love my teachers, and they deserve to at least have a nice place to be between classes, since a lot of them put in up to 15 hours a day being with us and helping us with whatever we need. If you're looking for a high school to JUST play sports at, then you shouldn't come here, because at crj, were all about getting into college and having a successful career. This school offers SOOOO many more opportunities compared to other high schools, not only the work study program, but also numerous field trips, clubs, teams, college trips, free tutoring, volunteer opportunities and much more. What I really like is that at my school, students have a voice. Every teacher and staff member knows you personally. And finally, Cristo Rey didn't Brainwash me OR my parents into anything. The only thing they brainwashed me into doing is being a more successful, responsible, and diligent student. I think that many more students should be "brainwashed" into believing that they can be whoever they want to be if they only try their best at all they do. I genuinely love my school, and I wouldn't want to be at any other high school but this one.
CHCP does what it can to help a student succeed. If it isn't the instructors giving us hands on training, it is the career services helping place in externships and in jobs after graduation. I am one semester shy of graduation and I cannot wait! It has been the best choice I've made to help chan…

Greeting! I am so sorry that you can't win them all! But I am one that was won! Sad to say that when everything Is going good no one has a complaint but when something doesn't go one's way then they have the privilege to create a false allegation on someone or something for their own insufficiencies! I really can truly say that you will just have to know good people when you see them and hang around and get to know them and don't judge the a book by this sad comment some sad person that has placed this because of something they didn't get! I'm praying for you because to even put your filthy mouth on the church when the church hasn't done anything to you neither has Little Angel's! Never the less the church and daycare has no affiliation! So I would recommend anyone and everyone to this facility because they have good results and reports! I will be the first to say Sorry for this one sick individual and if there are any concerns after seeing their post just call the facility and or go by yourself and check it out and I will promise you, you will get two different reports! God Bless!
I was highly recommended the MDI Prep course by a close friend who got accepted to medical school. The best advice he gave me as I was applying to medical school was to sign up for the MDI prep course to help me throughout my application process. I know that without a doubt registering for the MDI Prep Course was the best investment. Dr. Sutton is the greatest mentor I could have asked for. He was always willing to answer any questions I had in regards to the application process and was always so supportive. He met with me numerous times through email, video conference calls, voice calls and even in person. Dr. Sutton always had faith in me and whenever I had feelings of doubt he always had words of encouragement. I highly recommend Dr. Sutton for practice in your Mock interviews as he offers the best advice. I feel that thanks to his help, I was able to gain acceptance to my top choice medical school. I am very thankful that with his help I was able to make my dream a reality!
WHAT A GREAT SCHOOL!!! We are soooo excited there is a middle school now! St. Rose holds up to its mission of educating the entire youth - mind, body and spirit. So nice to have our children educated not only academically but spiritually, too! St. Rose challenges the students to "do more" - academically and spiritually. I have children in elementary and middle school - all are getting a top notch education! The teachers are truly preparing the students for excellence by expecting more out of them. The Fine Arts program is out of this world, too! The art my children come home with are truly masterpieces! The band program is awesome, too! I am so proud of what my children have accomplished and happy to have made some true friends along the way - I'm so glad that St. Rose was a part of it all!!
If you are looking for an exceptional education with a biblical worldview, this is the school for you. It has a small town feel in a city where most children get lost in public education. CCS just celebrated its 30th year and has had its best year so far. Our family has been at CCS for 7 years and our children have grown not just intellectually but spiritually. There have been some power struggles within but CCS has come out of the fire stronger. The staff from the head administrator, the principals, teachers and down to the volunteers have a love for Christ and display that in the school daily. The school offers everything from sports to the arts. If you are looking for a personal Christian education for your child, check out CCS.
This school has many problems, but i can only name a few here. Their are at least two fights every month. Most of the teachers are all right, excluding one of the drama teachers. He takes no interest in disciplining his classes, and its basically a free period. He picks favorites, to the point that the only way to get into "advanced drama"is to kiss his ***. That's why most of the kids in the so called "advanced" class are bad at acting and have zero creativity. Not that it would matter. Every one of his classes do the same thing every year, to ensure the minimal effort of the teacher. Most of the time he just sits on his phone, tablet, ipad, or computer, sometimes all at the same time. DO NO TAKE DRAMA!!!!!!
I graduated from Capstone an honor graduate with 21 college credit hours. The school set me up for success while also making me feel as if I were apart of a family. The teachers and directors were very hands on and had no problem helping those in need. Although they are a self pace school they will make sure you have an understanding of the material, which was very important to me. I really enjoyed my four years there. My younger brother has been attending since middle school and loves it just as much. Even though I have graduated I miss my Capstone family greatly and can't wait to visit.
This is the best school and preschool ever. My son has attend here for the last two years. He has excelled in his academic studies. They give homework every night, except church nights and they do the "coolest" projects ever that really teach the concepts not just busy work. The childcare is wonderful with great loving teachers that really take the time to get to know each student. The director is the most fascinating person, she has 25+ years experience and knows how to run a top facility. She follows all the state laws and know he ins and outs of the daycare industry.
This daycare is the best, my daughter went to another daycare for a few months before we found this one and the difference was immense, She has a 5 year old nephew who is already in school and she is already way ahead of him!! She knows her alphabets back and forth, colors, and shapes. She recognizes a few basic words in books and is attempting to write and she is only 3 years old. I credit all this to the daycare. Not only that but the teachers there love her and she loves them. The place is clean, neat and well organized, I would recommend this daycare to anyone that asks me.
I attended an NBDE workshop on Saturday with MDI Prep and it was great. They showed us how to answer NBDE questions, even if we were unsure of what the questions was really asking. The best part is the released questions they gave us. Many of these same questions appeared on my exam. I am surprised I just now heard of them. One of the best things about the workshop was the practice test they gave us. The only thing I wish was that the workshop was longer than 2 hours. If it were an 8 hour workshop I would have given it 5 stars for sure.
