        Overall

        The service was terrible. Very rude waitress and bartenders. I've never been treated so poorly. If they continue to treat their customers this way, they won't be in business long. Don't waste your time, there are lots of other great places to spend your money and have a good time. The Staff ruined our night.

        Very disappointing. Our food was terrible and the appetizers were at best,adequate (calamari and crab cakes). We ordered the broiled walleye and tuna with creamed wasabi. Everything was cold but the walleye (which was under seasoned) steamed vegetables -cold, french fries-cold. The waitress stated it is supposed to be served that way. $75.00 dollars for the meal. Not impressed, stopped at a fast food restaurant and we brought it home, it was still pipping hot.

        The White Horse opened in downtown St. Cloud in March 26, 2008. Owner Brian Lee believed the area was full of too many corporate chain restaurants, so he implemented a business model of a scratch-kitchen, manned with unique and talented chefs in a downtown location. The White Horse built a successful lunch and dinner crowd ranging from SCSU professors, lawyers and doctors to undergrads and the creative culture of the downtown area.Built upon the foundation of the original bar constructed in 1907, the building has housed The Sportsman, Geez, Mike Morris Superstars and upon investigating the original bars history, Brian Lee was told by some of the locals that the original name of the place was The White Horse which is the origin of the name. Turns out the original name was The White Bear. We think youll agree, The White Horse sounds much better.We welcome you to The White Horse. The Downtown establishment that eats like a restaurant and drinks like a bar.
