I too had a problem with the fact that the staff at Mestad's can not take measurements and deliver. Pants of the tux 5 inches too short, coat was no where near the size needed and too small. They delivered replacement pieces the day of the wedding and after giving them specific measurements for the inseam of the pants, they were still too short. Four other men of a party of 10 had the same problem and had replacement pieces delivered the day of the wedding. After spending a significant amount of money on a tux that could not be wore all day, I called to ask for some kind of refund. It took weeks to get calls back and after 4 conversations with management about how they didn't screw, no refund or any kind of satisfaction (all I asked for was a 10-20% discount). If you are looking for a worry free wedding day, this is NOT the place to go!

I was in stcloud looking at dresses. I call Mestead too see if I could come in without and appointment. They told me yes come on in. They were great excellent service and I went home with a Bridal dress and a great price. The staff was great can't say enough!! Thanks for helping me find my perfect dress
I went to mestads at the beginning of the year for bridesmaids dresses for my wedding this September. After ordering the dresses we were told they would be in during early may. May came and went and we never received a phone call letting us know what was going on. I ended up calling and they told me the manager would call me back...I never received a phone call. This happened on several occasions. My sister, the maid of honor, has called several times for me...most of the time they say since she is not the bride they cannot talk to her which I think is b.s. it is now mid July and we still haven't heard back about when their dresses will be arriving...this is 2 1/2 months before my wedding. It may not b mestads fault that the company making the dresses is behind, but there customer service is awful! A good company would call a customer back when the customer is told they will...a good company would also know the definition of customer service and call with an update every once in a while! I will NEVER be going back to this place and I will NEVER recommend anyone else does either!
My daughter went into mestads to buy a prom dress.I was unable to go with her due to having to work,i am a single parent.She bought a dress because the workers there said she looked great in it, and looked like a model, so she fell in love with it.After bringing it home she tried it on, it was way too tight,and was ripped in several areas!Mestads would not return the dress or even exchange it,they would not work with us at all!Says it was discounted due to the condition already!Really almost $300!THATS DISCOUNTED!!!i took it to try get it fixed they could not believe the amount I spent on it for the condtion it is in!WAY TO GO MESTADS..LIE TO YOUR COSTUMERS,NOT WILLING TO WORK WITH YOUR COSTOMERS & WAY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A TEENAGER BY SELLING THEM A DRESS LIKE THAT!I will never go to mestads again!and all you parents out there, make sure if you do go there you are with so they cant take advantage of your kid like they did with us!
Horrible...issues with many of the tuxes for groomsmen and groom...wrong color scheme for groom on day of pick up, wrong shirt sizes on day of pick up, holes in pockets, holes in sleeves, grooms tie was so mangled it caused a thirty minute delay on day of wedding, several pairs of the shoes literally fell apart shortly after putting them on. When I returned my tux and tried to explain that my shoes fell apart on my feet..the lady snatched the garment bag and said we are looking into it..no apology, no offer of a rebate. We got your $125 now F off please thank you.
