I am a first time mom and when it came time to go back to work, I searched EXTENSIVELY for a daycare that I liked before settling with this one. They are very fair on pricing and I loved the center and Staff! The center: There is a privacy fence around the playground so the whole world can't just look in on your children playing. There is a HUGE indoor playroom for the children to run around in when the weather doesn't permit for outside play. There are very well put together rooms for each age group and routine activities and curriculums. (These were highlights among many things I liked!) The staff: The things I picked up on most when I first arrived to interview were that the director seemed to know every child and parent in the center by name and seemed to have a good relationship with them. I happened to meet her husband in the same day. (The handyman) : ) I met with all of the teachers but as I started in the infant room, that's what I was most concerned with. The infant staff was very kind and great with Joseph. (also, every time I came in to pick him up, even the days I showed up early, he was doing some sort of new activity that I liked that was helpful for his development.) Every parent has to be let in individually by a staff member so people can't just come waltzing in if they please. I suppose I could go on forever! Unfortunately, when I switched jobs, I also had to switch daycare providers being that my new job is 50 miles in the opposite direction! But after searching in many other cities even, Little Puzzlers is still on top of my list for great day care centers. (And by top, I mean 3 out of about 30 that made the cut) I would definitely recommend this place, and if I ever end up in their neck of the woods again, I know where I will go!
Amazing Staff-Great Programs-Very Well Prepared Preschool Our son just started Kindergarten and had been at Kiddie Kove since the age of 3. Although there were a few teachers that left during that time, the turn over was very low compared to other centers. They hire part time students that have focus on early childhood development and lots of experience with different age children. The food choices have helped our son try new things and actually eat certain casseroles that we didn't realize he would eat. A few field trips are done per year and they are highly chaperoned and well planned. They do not do background checks on parents for those field trips so that would be something they could improve on, however there is plenty of Staff on hand at all times. Our son learned many sign language skills, many Spanish words/number/phrases, and greatly improved his self-help skills such as zippers, doing buttons, washing hands. In my opinion their Parent Aware rating is lower due to just being graded for the first time. I have seen them keep up to date on safety standards, cleanliness, curriculum, nutrition and arts. I would highly recommend Kiddie Kove. They are family owned, very caring, and they do a wonderful job loving and teaching children. Our Kindergartener is well adjusted, happy, smart and pretty outgoing thanks to being well prepared from Kiddie Kove..
Little Puzzlers prides ourselves on our low turnover rates of staff (our infant and toddler teachers have remained with our company for 10+ years, and our preschool teachers 5+ and 10+ years), which is so very important in early childhood. Developing attachments with consistent adults allow children to develop a sense of trust and to build healthy relationships. In a childcare setting, that can be difficult to find! Our infant teacher, Amy, has her BS in Child and Family Studies. As the toddler teacher, I have my BA in Psychology, and our preschool teacher Saria has her AAS degree in Early Childhood, an AAS Degree in Special Education, as well as her CDA! Whew! We are ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️Parent Aware rated, which is the highest rating awarded by the program. Families can use Parent Aware Star ratings to find programs using best practices that prepare children for kindergarten. And all of this: our years of experience, our university education, our continued education (yes, even after our earned degrees, we still attend workshops and seminars throughout the year!), and our maintaining of our star rating, is because we love children, and want to provide the best care possible for your little ones!
I have 3 children who are currently enrolled at Little Puzzler's, one for each room. They are all well cared for, and enjoy their time there. Every weekend, they will ask if we can have a daycare day, so they can be there. My oldest is having difficulties with paying attention and following through on directions, and his teachers and the director are working very hard with me to help him be as successful as possible. My 2 year old loves to be with her friends and teachers, and is always excited about the art that she gets to do daily. And my 2 month old is treated with the same caring concern that I offer at home. I would not consider placing my children at another center; I have yet to find or see one that can compare!
The Gaetz Child Care Centers are amazing facilities. They teach, encourage, and help the children prepare for future schooling (kindergarten). They do this in a respectful, and calm manner. My kids have gone to a couple of different daycare centers, but this is the one I am sticking with. A lot of other centers curriculum isn't education based, but Gaetz Kiddie Kare has phenomenal teachers and staff. I easily rate this business with five stars.
Wonderful teaching daycare and such a wonderful person Mary is! Wouldn't take our son anywhere else-he loves it there! Very organized and clean house-inside and out (hard to find for home daycares sadly!) great nutritious meals, very structured schedule for learning and play, trustworthy, open with communication, truly cares about your child! Can't say enough positives about her-we are blessed to have found her!
I started working for little puzzlers after my first externship there and have now been employed with them for three years. I find that my fellow staff and I find our jobs very precious as we are working to nurture the minds of young children. All of our families have a place in our hearts and we love what we do to make each and every one of them feel important.
Mary is a fabulous daycare provider! My son was reading before he entered kindergarten and was well prepared for the curriculum. She provides a nurturing, well structured, and clean environment that my son (1st grade now) still looks upon fondly. She is a wonderful lady and I fully recommend her.
I've taken my daughter to this facility since she was 6 1/2 mo old. I have had a very good experience, especially compared to some of the horror stories I've heard about child care facilities. Granted nothing is ever perfect, but I would recommend Little Puzzlers to friends and family.
Our two boys have been going to Little puzzlers for a year and a half. Our oldest child is special needs and requires several services. The staff has done a wonderful job making him feel a part of the class. As parents. We are very grateful for Mrs Kathy, Mr. Dennis, and Mrs. Stephanie.
