Worst customer service ever. First time customer. Connor Cleaners did a horrible job ironing after was assured they could do it properly. Was also double charged (paid up front for part of order) then upon picking up entire order charged me for entire order even what was paid up front. They say the first receipt does not say paid in full. That is correct, I paid for the pants up front not the shirt laundering part of the bill. Said he had video proof that I never paid but refused to show video proof that i did not pay. Got rude and verbally combative and has NO concept of customer service. Never raise your voice in a store. Handle yourself like a professional. Would rate zero stars if that was a possibility.
We have been going to this cleaners for years! They are prompt, thorough, honest hardworking people who do a great job! We have even taken down mattress pads and duvets there and they come back beautiful!
Awesome service!! Best in St Clair shores! They really care about you.. And your clothes! Great customer service and even open late
Take yourself off 24 hour laundromat websites, if no longer open 24 hours.
My sister and I took our wedding dresses to Shores Cleaners to be dry cleaned and preserved on 11/13/13 and were told our dresses would be cleaned by 12/7/13 and they would call us when they were done so that we could see the dresses before they were boxed up for preservation. On 12/20/12 I had not received a call from the cleaners yet so I called and spoke to the owner and he said the dresses would be cleaned between Christmas and New Years and were not done yet because the "machines had broke down". On 1/7/14 I called the store and they were not answering the phone so I went there to speak to someone regarding our dresses and the progress on them. The owner once again told me that the dresses were not cleaned yet, this time because of snow/weather conditions/being short staffed, but that he would have them cleaned by 1/12/14. On 1/14/14 I finally got a call saying our dresses were cleaned and could be viewed before they sealed up the boxes for preservation. We went in and looked at the dresses, which were cleaned to our liking and then the worker said they would box them up and call us when they were ready for pick up. Two days later we didnt receive a phone call that they were done yet so my sister called and they were sitting at the cleaners done, but no one had called to let us know they were done. We picked up our dresses today, 1/17/14, 1 month and 10 days after they were originally promised to us. Normally I dont write reviews but I am extremely upset at how the owner dealt us and how long it took to get our WEDDING DRESSES back to us. Besides the fact that we had to keep calling them and they were not keeping us updated as the what was going on with the dresses. When we finally picked up the dresses they only accept checks or cash. My sister lives in Connecticut and tried to pay with a Bank of America (which are located nationally) check from CT and the owner would not accept a CT check. This place is ridiculous! After paying $150.00 for dress cleaning and preservation you would think they would be a little more courteous to customers.
Damaged a dress I had alterations on. Took 3 days for the owner to even look at the damage. Will not go back.
horrible. the counter person never got off his personel phone call to help me. ask me my phone number and told me the cost. that was it. are you kidding me!!!
