I was shockingly bumped a couple of times during the course of a car wash by the vehicle behind me. I tried to bring it to the attention of the employees but they reacted rudely -- they were rather young -- and didn't seem to care. Called the store location and spoke with a "David" who was also very unhelpful and condescending and refused to give me the full names of the store manager and car wash manager after he said they were not present. Called corporate to inform them of the situation.Because of the incredibly poor customer service, I cancelled my car wash membership and will find an alternate service station to gas up. At $600/ year I deserved much better.
For a new business this is a great disappointment. The employees are rude Their payment system is greatly lacking . It is a big headache to run in and grab a couple things and check out . I really think it's worth the extra time to go across the Hwy to the little BP and be able to get in and get out and have people actually smile at you like your important
How this place could get more than one star from anybody is a complete mystery to me. Off the top, it is a dingy, cruddy place, not clean or well kept at all. First impression: fail.Next, my husband, because our business is very near and the location is therefor convenient, had a habit of using them for oil changes, and also various repairs. It is unfortunately true that I often only find out about repairs AFTER they are done, but I always price check work even if it is basically too late. My husband is too busy to shop around. My finding is that repairs and oil change pricing is multiplied by a factor of two at Bud's.The latest examples: I called for a synthetic oil change quote yesterday, and was told for my car it would be 100 bucks. I called three other places, where the same was quoted between 57 and 60 bucks. I also called for a quote on replacing my four wheel suspension struts yesterday, and the first question I heard from "Bud" was "what for?" What for....???? well, let's see... maybe my car needs them at 110,000 miles on the same parts? I do not take lightly to unfriendly, gruff interactions and uncalled-for questions of my needs. The price he gave me was an estimate of about 1000 bucks. Nice price! The competition in Saint Charles will do the work for half that at $ 552.00 parts and labor! Bud's did not even bother to tell me the details contained in that hefty quote, in order to at least let me see what they included in it. The very friendly competition went over every aspect of this quote with me, and in a professional, courteous, manner. My husband bought 4 new tires from Bud's some months back, and he can't even get them rotated for free, as he just paid over 100 bucks for that service, which at other locations is usually included for free, for as long as the warranty goes on the tires. So, if you like unfriendly service, dirty location and shoddy, overpriced service, that would be at Budd's. If you doubt what I state, I'll personally take you there and explain to you what I mean! No problem with that at all.
Hwy 94: Paid like 60 dollars with +10 and after seeing the car they didn't clean anything on inside which I paid like special $13 for that. Never happened last before,Looks like all new faces and don't know whether they knew anything about detailing. I don't want to be picky after paying so much for all the detailing and keep searching whether they cleaned everything or not, that sucks.... I just want to get the wash and just go, Would go to another location or different one next time.
Good luck here if you are an out-of-state driver. My credit card was rejected at the pump and I was directed to see cashier who informed me the reason was that my card was out of state. He then took a long time to try to clear the transaction and couldn't do it so he told me to use another pump, pointing to the pump to use. I went to that pump and was told it was the wrong one and to use the one behind me. When I backed up he said that was the wrong pump and that I should have understood he meant the one behind the original pump I had started with. A real snarky guy and making no effort to provide any customer service. Welcome to Missouri. Thank you Register 002, Cashier 001 at 18:48:33 on 5/11/15. BP has a bad enough legacy without making out-of state customers (especially who don't have self-serve pumps in their state and unfamiliar with the process) feel helpless and angry. Maybe he doesn't like folks from NJ. The rudest folks from NJ are nicer than this guy.l
