What an amazing Resteraunt. The Bemis family and partner Matt have a great spot and the food is remarkably on point!!!! Out of sight; in fact. Trying everything on the menu soon. So far the pulled pork is “pulling”a close second (pun implied) to the “Southwest Stacked Prime Rib”. ~ aka.. Gorgonzola steak sandwich. Best sandwich ever!!!!!! Great Value and very nice staff and family. Highly recommend a trip to Historic Cottleville and giving them a try! Just Outstanding!
Some of the best sandwiches and fries in the St Louis area. The Smash fries are flavored with rosemary. So darn good!!
Place gets busy because the food and drinks are good. This is a nice area. Plenty of lot parking. They have a nice curbside area for dining or after work drinks
So, the food was delicious, but the restaurant itself was awful. We got there while a sort of a group fundraiser/ party was going on. The parents were letting their children run around the store, climb all over the booths, and have wrestling matches in the middle of the floor. At one point I had a child run into me. I was there with my husband and two children, I would never dream of letting my children behave like that. It gets a one star because when i informed the manager, his response was that he was 'busy' in the back and that the group brought in $1000 in sales. I don't care how much they brought in. The other patrons in there (and I was not the only one to complain) swore to never return. How much business did you lose because of your inability to run your restaurant? Furthermore, the manager's staff were the ones having to clean up the food trampled into the carpet while calming angry customers. Very bad management, I will never return there again.
One of my favorite places to get breakfast. Everything is fresh and the staff is super-friendly. The Black Forest scrambler is my fave.
Bad service. We waited for a long time to be seated. Then they gave us the wrong drinks. We didn't get any biscuits or cornbread until after our food came, and they were burnt when they finally arrived. We had been eating about 5 min when they brought us our ticket, and then heavily encouraged us to leave after we'd gotten our to-go boxes. It was rude and we felt rushed. The food was wonderful, though. I love Cracker Barrel, but probably won't be coming back to this one.
Waited for 45 for food. One person's sausage was so burnt he couldn't eat it. Another person ordered the cod special. He got one small piece of cod & three pieces of catfish WITH bones. We told the waitress & she insisted there were no bones & walked away!!! One person's food was ok, but she pulled all the heavy batter off.The last thing. The waitress brought biscuits & no cornbread! This was Friday 10/7
Hidden Gem! Go back in time to when dining out was a true treat. The food is amazing and served in a fashion that will create a true experience. The owner Donna made my table of 30 something bachelors feel more like we were having dinner at our grandmothers and we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves any more.
The service was good and the food was tasty!
Wasn't as busy as some of the others ones on the street. Far fewer college girls by themselves all seemed spoken for. Didn't realize when I was getting scammed by the ACE CAB there was two Landings thought I was going to St Louis Landing but had a great time on the St Charles Landing Aside from getting screwed over by the green Taxis TWICE, overcharged both ways and then took me to the wrong hotel on purpose when he picked up a group going there and made me ride with them, and then kicked me out to get a different fare. Hotel had to call me a decent cab to get to my actual hotel.
