General Info

The St. Johns County Public Works Department maintains, preserves and protects the infrastructure resources of the county. It operates engineering services, fleet maintenance and road and bridge divisions. Its engineering division provides design management, permitting and construction services for transportation capital improvement and traffic operations projects. The St. Johns County Public Works Department s fleet maintenance division consists of more than 850 pieces of equipment. In addition, the division also serves the Council on Aging, and the St. Johns Community College Police Academy. The department is a part of the St. Johns County, which additionally operates administration, animal control, fire rescue, mental health and health and human services. The St. Johns County Public Works Department is located in St. Augustine, Fla.
