I did find a few great things! I found a womens leather jacket that looked new and it was marked at their regular coat price, I do not remember what that was. Maybe $5.00 - $8.00? Anyhow, when I was checking out at the register with my items, the male clerk saw the leather coat and pulled it out from my items, said it was not marked correctly and told me it would be a much higher price. Very impressive professionalism! The items are DONATED and YOU MARKED THEM!
What a find! I was looking for furniture for my new apartment and came across SVDP Thrift Store. I found some great pieces for my new apartment! I found the staff very helpful, great prices and they even loaded my items inside my truck for me! Definitely a place to go back too! BethAnne's Best
Cant believe how clean and well organized this store is! cashiers and staff were very friendly and helpful in our search for some hard to find items. Love this place will definitely shop here often. Cant wait to go back!!!!!
I love the selection and mostly reasonable prices, but my last few experiences were not great. Most were just a general unfriendliness, but the last time I was there the two cashiers were loudly complaining about customers the whole time I was up front, even going so far as to mock them and say they should just keep on walking if they don't like the prices. When I checked out I had a damaged item marked $.49, but the cashier handling the money looked it over and changed the price to $5. I really wanted it and I figured it was mismarked before, so I wasn't going to argue even though I thought that was kind of lousy. Thinking out loud I said, "Hmm. I'll have to repair it..." The cashier bagging items irritably said, "Do you want it or not?" then proceeded to abruptly take it away and put it on the back counter before I had a chance to answer. As this was happening I said, "Well, I guess not!" After all that they could keep the broken thing. After checking out I looked at the jewelry and saw a sign on the counter that said "Don't put anything on this counter... or else!" That rubbed me the wrong way after the rude treatment I'd had. Then I realized a couple days later that I was charged $2 each for Dollar Tree items. Not the end of the world, but annoying after everything else. I went ahead and bought what was in my cart even though I felt very uncomfortable and dumped on, but I highly doubt I'll go in there again. I don't understand the hostility. Since they dislike customers so much I'll take their advice and "keep walking."
prices are better then they use to be some of the managers or owners are still cold
use to stop in here a lot until one day the owner was yelling at this help for pricing something too low. I will never step foot back in their door.
prices are way too high. I can buy new clothes at Wal-Mart for less
