I needed help fixing a flat tire because my jack was broken so I called my roadside assistance and they linked me with this "company". I waited an hour for them in Chico. I finally called and he answered the phone with only a hello, no indication that I had called a company. I told him about the situation and he said he had two people in front of me so it would be longer than the estimated one hour. He just kept rambling on with excuses so I said okay and hung up. Canceled it with my roadside assistance and had someone else help me with the tire. Super unprofessional!!

Don't own up to mistakes. Avoids coming clean. Run run run as fast as possible. Do that and you will save yourself a whole lot of grief.
This is such a great service. We have had this for over 20 years. They are on call at all times. I have had them come out just to put air in my tire. Great thing to have for teenagers driving around.
I arrived in Sacramento from Oregon and my RV "died" on a city street. Called Good Sam Club and they sent Doug to fix the rig on a Sunday morning. He quickly found the problem was a bad starter and fixed it. He also found an unusual problem with a pinched wire in the ignition column and fixed that as well. Amazing service!
It's a great resource to have, even if you don't get a tow. I've used it when I ran out of gas, battery dead and locksmith.
I have used Ace in the Hole every time I needed a tow. I evened left my car to them to deliver to the repair shop without following them.
It took these guys over 3 hours to get to my location in Chico for a lockout on a 100 degree day. The guy arrived driving a mercedes with no indication of who he was. There was also a woman asleep in the back seat. THe driver had no id and was not wearing a work shirt showing TLC Roadside. He said he had came from Marysville!!! He said the reason had to wait so long was because my insurance had to call around for a Roadside Co. that would even respond to a lockout because most of them want the big money calls (tows, etc for $500-600). If this is true, this is bad news for those who are stranded. If it is not true, I guess he was just trying to justify his 3 hour response time. Either way not good.
AAA is the best thing you could buy a new driver. Towing when a car breaks down. Change tires when you have a flat. I get free maps and books from the office when we are going on vacation. Discounts for hotels too!
My roadside assistance called this company and they left me stranded for well over an hour before we got a new provider. The dispatcher was not helpful or friendly and despite several promises of help being on the way and promises of callbacks, they never showed and never returned calls. If you're stranded, use a more reliable company!
I've left my keys in my car twice and have had to have been towed twice as well and they have came out to help in a timely manor. The tow truck drivers are really friendly and they call you with estimated times of arrival. I highly recommend them.
I have called this number and the extra number they list here are not the correct number
