I LOVE THEM! I don’t write these posts often, but I have a good reason for this post. The guys at Best Buy Car Sale bent over backwards to get me into my “new to me” truck. I had never purchased a used car from someone I did not know before and was in all honestly, braced for the worst. Leading up to purchasing, I have been diligent in my homework online, looking for someone with a good reputation and great products within my price range. Unlike most of the people and places I was finding, they had both. They have good standing with the BBB, great posts by other customers, and have been in business long enough that I knew they were doing it right. The cars / trucks they had listed online were easy to research on Carfax with links right on their web site. I had a clear idea of my options before I even picked up the phone to see if the trucks I was interested in were still available and schedule an appointment for my test drive(s). I went to see them with 1 first choice but a total of 3 of their vehicles in my mind as possibilities. I was greeted with huge warm smiles and handshakes as soon as I entered the office. Allen had the SUV I had inquired about ready for me to test drive. Keeping this post less than 3 pages long, I’ll jump ahead. I decided on an SUV that I loved, but it was a bit above what I had in my budget to spend and I didn’t want to finance above the cash I had saved for my new vehicle. John, their manager did not try to push me into a loan I wasn’t comfortable with nor did he try to “sell” me. Instead he showed me complete respect and got creative on how to get me my SUV. I felt like I was working with a friend. He was honest, straightforward, and completely kept in mind what I wanted and needed. At no time was I rushed and every question I had was answered with knowledge. There was one small thing wrong with the stereo and he got someone to fix it while we were doing the paperwork. I’m sorry to say that I forget the name of the man that I did the finally paperwork with but will say he was just as wonderful as Allen and John. He also explained any questions I had, kept the sale fun, and was completely on top of everything so the paperwork went quickly. I recommend that you go visit their dealership. I could not be more pleased with my SUV and how purchasing it went..

Score! Finally a car dealership without the pain and utter frustration! I did a ton of research online before actually going in. I was on a mission to find my next baby - a white Audi A4. I found three in the area, M&S was the third and final stop. Others, who I won't mention, were a bit sketchy - the usual stuff - not wanting to share the Carfax, not answering my questions, pushing me to other cars. Eddie and M&S Auto was the opposite, I could tell right from the beginning my experience was going to be different. I parked and was attended to right away, I told Eddie I was looking at their 2009 Audi A4, he found that it was at their mechanic shop around the corner, he ran over and brought it back for me. While I was waiting I hung out in their lounge where I was offered drinks and donuts (multiple times) and, requested to see the Carfax, which they happily supplied. Eddie brought the car upfront for me. We went for a drive, he answered all my questions - there was a few he didn't know for sure and he ACTUALLY REMEMBERED to answer them later! I loved the car but, the airbag light was on - they assured me they would fix it for me at no charge (and they did). Then came down to the financing - I already had been pre-approved through my Credit Union, PatelCo. Eddie asked if I would like to see if they could get a better rate, I didn't feel comfortable doing so and, he had not problem with it. They were able to work with my Credit Union, faxed over all the documents and all the requested info. A few days later I noticed that my front driver brake was squeaking. I called them up and they said to just come down and they would take care of it for me... what?? No fighting? I brought it in the next day and they had it done in an hour. I was able to hang out in their lounge and use their wifi to work, so it wasn't a big deal. I just remember catching myself laughing and enjoying myself for the first time at a car dealership (this is my sixth car)! These guys are so cool and easy going - I never felt pressured or that I was being taken advantage of. Eddie said it best... "you're buying a new car, it should be fun!"
After spending considerable time searching for a used car that is both reliable and affordable, we landed at Salem Auto. Initially we worked with David. He was very up-front with us about prices and which cars he 'had room' to lower prices and which ones he did not. Wow! What a breath of fresh air! My husband came back the next night to look at a few more cars then finally we both returned a few days later to test drive each of the 4 we had narrowed down as possibilities. David was off this day, so we worked with Mike and the office manager (sorry, I forgot his name). While my choice would have been an older, more expensive car, my husband decided he wanted the Prius for the gas mileage as he drives 250 miles a day for work. Within a day or two the "check engine" light came on and we panicked. We know that when you buy a used car "as is" you are stuck with whatever you get. However, it seemed like the guys at Salem Auto were upstanding guys, so we decided to call them to see if they would be willing to at least look at it. When we called neither David, Mike, or the office mgr were available, we we explained everything to Alex. Alex asked us to bring it in telling us that there was something he wanted to check out. We don't live in Sacramento, so it was inconvenient but we were not about to refuse him! Alex hooked up his machine, ran some tests, and advised us put some fuel cleaner in the tank and no longer use cheap gas. We weren't even 1/2 home before the light came on again! We called back and spoke with David. David asked us to come back again. This time, he would have a mechanic take a look at it AND give us a loaner car!!! WHAT?!? We've never gotten a loaner car from ANY other car dealership even when we brought a brand new vehicle! The car was fixed and we picked it up the following day. Needless to say, I cannot speak highly enough of Salem Auto and all four of the men that helped us! Honestly, they all worked together as a single unit and to make sure we purchased a reliable car. We will definitely give them our business in the future!
Hey my name is Liz.... My car was stolen when it was found it was totalled... Insurance company paid it off.... they advised me to look for another car so I did..... I needed an all wheel drive audi.... 2.7t..and I found it on bestbuycarsalellc.com..... 2003 pearl white audi all wheel drive for $6000 with 95,000 miles and a warranty..... I called the phone number and spoke with Jack.... we had a nice conversation.... I told him what I needed and he told me that they had it......I let him know about my situation and that I needed financing.... he offered his services to me by preapproving me in minutes....the car rental agency only gave me 10 days to use rental... Jack offered to pick me up so I took it...... he picked me up and drove me to the dealership..... we walked over to the car... I told him it was nice.... He asked me for my driver's license to make a copy of it.... came with back with keys to the car... while he was gone I fell in love with the car.... No smell, clean.... he opened the hood and he explained what was under the hood.... he showed me the color of the oil, the trany fluid, the new battery, new tires .the top of the engine where the timing belt date sticker when the belt was changed .... he then showed me the inside of the car... the benefits and features.... I asked him to open the trunk....it was clean.... had 6 CD player.... I wanted the car more than he wanted to sell it to me.... this was the car I wanted. .... $6000 plus fees...... I drove it..... got back and crunched numbers and everything was perfect..... the monthly terms and interest rate was awesome......from the time I got there to the time I left was only 35 minutes with the car that I wanted.... no issues and a warranty.... thanks Jack and John... great experience..... very happy....
I'll start with five stars, Buying a used car from a dealer is always a scary thing. As we all know , trust is something we all lose when we grow up. I was looking for a used car on craigslist's and this is how I have found Car Expo Suhill had one specific car that caught my eye , I called him and setup to meet him at his location the day after. The car was 1998 Acura TL and looked amazing to me . I did a short test drive and told Suhill I'm buying it, I also told him that I know nothing about cars so whatever he says about the car I take as is.Telling him that , did not go against me , actually the opposite . Suhill showed me the car fax but told me about all the issues that this car had that not showing in the car fax. He told me about all the issues that he think I might need to change like battery and other stuff but the thing is I felt that he was very honest in regards to say the things they are without trying to convince me to buy. even though it was a "buy as is" Suhill was very specific about all issues. SO I bought the car the day after and took it to Acura mechanics to give me his opinion. I know whatever he finds it will be too late for me but I just wanted to know for my peace of mind.The mechanics tested the car for about an hour and told me the same things Suhill told me . this car in amazing ! Because Suhill told me everything he know about the car , I had no bad surprises and this made me very happy. I hope I will be rich one day so I don't have to buy used cars, but until this happen ,Suhill at Car Expo will be the only place I will go to buy a used car.
i bought a 2002 volvo s80 twin charged from this lot at first i wanted a fancy expensive car but the manager talked to me for awhile an knew i had a baby on the way and traveled for work he printed out multiple safety ratings and valuable info about some of the cars that would be a good fit for me. I ended up going with the volvo (by the way awesome car) i had a previous repo and all kinds of financial issues and the manager there didn't judge me or turn me down he literally spent hours with me doing anything an everything he could(includng sending a employee to get my pregnant fiance food and drinks while he was working with me) he worked with me and he took care of me and got me into the car. he was laid back it was relaxing i didnt feel pressured an i felt comfortable buying the car. it has now been 5 months since i got the car i have had no problems at all and the manager has called me a few times through out since i got the car to check up make sure everything is ok and good on the car (good customer service!!) i have now sent 3 friends here to buy cars and he has got all 3 of them into cars and they will all say the same thing and i will continue to send business here and i will always come back to do business in the future. overall it was a good experience i recommend anybody to come here it is a small lot that is kind of hidden but you wont be let down they are great down to earth real people that will work with you and take care of you awesome place!!! I picked up my reserved car at the Sacramento Airport Friday morning the July 18th. I was in a rush and haven't used Alamo for several years. My rate was very reasonable. At the time of reservation through my Southwest Frequent Flyer site the total for three days came to about $75. I was asked about upgrading which I refused as I had a good car that met my needs. I was then asked if I wanted the standard or upgraded insurance. I was given no explanation or heads up that there would be an additional charge. I also was not given the option to decline. I did not realize what had happened until I returned the car on Sunday the 20th and was charged over $160 at the drop off! As it turned out the check-in person made a mistake and I had to go back to the Alamo counter, wait in line, and then explained that the charge should have been only around $80. I was charged for the wrong car and apparently I didn't actually decline the damage waiver because I was not told about it. This added $45 to the bill. I'm still not sure how it was all adjusted because it was getting late for my flight. The person at the counter said he gave me a $5 credit for the trouble and still charged me $120. Needless to say, my next car rental probably wont be Alamo. UPDATE: I had an experience with Alamo that I gave an unfavorable review on. They contacted me and after getting all the info made everything right! That is a sign of a company that cares about it's customers! 5 stars for Alamo and I will use them on my next trip!
Last week the wife and I went car shopping, so we visited pretty much every car dealer on Fulton Ave. We were looking for an SUV that's low miles, good on gas and accident free. We found a few but most were asking for too much or they did not want to negotiate a cash price. So we saw this sweet Lexus RX at Luxano parked upfront, not even 2 minutes on the lot, a sales guy came and offered to help us and actually brought the keys to the car to demo it for us. the car was exactly what we wanted and he let us take it for a test drive. I am a part time mechanic and I tested everything and checked the oil and all that, so I knew right then this is the car I want. We went back and he invited us to the office and we made him a cash offer... He went to ask his manager and they agreed on the price! It was soo cool that they even threw in a 3 month warranty on top! I loved the gesture and the good faith in their cars. We took the car home and had it for a week now... we went everywhere! Just got back from my in laws in Nevada and this car did not skip a beat! I called them today and thanked them for the wonderful car and service and the free warranty. I am telling all my buddies about Luxano Motors, spreading the good word.
Picked up car at Sacramento Airport----unfortunately running late for a meeting and drove off lot without realizing gas tank was not full. Additionally, had challenges with the automatic transmission not shifting appropriately while driving vehicle. Fill tank upon return anyway. Mentioned both to the young lady checking in the car. She didn't seem to understand what I was talking about concerning the transmission not shifting appropriately. Not confident this issue was reported. Was not offered any concession regarding the gas issue. Unfortunately, this was the second week in a row I had an issue with renting here. The previous week, I was provided a car that was not cleaned well. It was a black SUV that had been washed but obviously left out to dry in the sun, and it had water spots all over it. I had to stop at a gas station to clean all the windows so that I could see appropriately while driving. I did mention this to the attendant checking in the car, and I did receive a $15 discount on that rental. I will say I have rented with them prior to these two incidents--and had no problems. But the gas situation was annoying.....I will probably try them once again and see what happens.
My name is j bond In January this year my car broke down and it was costing me too much to repair it so I decided to buy used car I had only a little money for Don payment and my credit wasn't that good I went car shopping I went to many dealership but all of them they turned me down as my credit wasn't good and I didn't have enough down payment then I went to Best Buy Car Sale they were very professional and polite and caring they told me because my down payment wasn't enough they need to speak to manager John he told me to go find any car under the price which he gave me and he will see if I can get financed there was a little Ford focus which are like so I went and told him and he said he will be able to get me finance I also had some issue to get insurance and he help me with that too I had this car for almost 8 months and I only had to change oil and Betray I have referred this car dealership to many of my friends and so I decided to give something to them that's why I'm leaving this feedback
